Don't buy it. Just get the first game and disregard all others. ;D

I'm a guy who can enjoy a survival horror game like 3D Monster Maze to Forbidden Siren. Spent 7 hours to give it a chance. It feels unfinished. Here are the flaws:

Combat: SLOPPY (hard to keep control, lacks recognition, loose)

Camera: Mind of it's own (fixed camera...sorta. The game thinks for itself)

Difficulty: Hard to tell (feels like victory or failure through glitches)

This game rocks. Co-op gameplay is very fun. Its also scary and the music soundtrack is great!

There are occasional black flowers that show up on the walls -- that's how you save, and they can only be used once.

I just picked this up at Gamespot. $12 BRAND NEW. I heard the mixed reviews, but thought 12 isn't that much, low risk.

So far i don't get the bad reviews. Sure it has a cliche / goofy story but it's a perfectly fine game ESPECIALLY FOR $12 new it's a steal.

Can't believe gamespot gave it a 4.5 out of 10. WTF is with them and their Wii reviews. I swear I've never seen a console get so many erratic game reviews ever.

yes! obscure and obscure are both amazing games in my opinion. im also a huge resident evil fan, but re and obscure are very different but great in their own ways.

It's Awesome with the Co-op feature. It's very rare that survival horror games have a co-op mode. And if there is they don't usually end up great. But Obscure is so good!
