The sound of the engine doesn't seem like a 1988 turbocharge engine besides its pop off sound of the turbocharger. It should sound a bit heavier not so high rpm if you hear those turbocharge era F1 cars

They are the same song. Lux Aeterna was written by Clint Mansell for Darren Aronofsky's film Requiem for a Dream, in which almost the entire soundtrack was based around it. However, the entire song was not released until the trailer of Two Towers. The song on the trailer was named Requiem for a Tower, despite it being the full orchestrated rendition of Lux Aeterna.
This is a great video. I love driving Senna's car although it sucks all the sounds are the same for the 88 cars. (at least it was the last time I played the mod)

About the ea f1 series not being simulators, in my opinion they were(are). The physics etc have been improved since then but they were simulators. You could drive the cars without any aids from the computer and it's not a huge difference from driving in rFactor. rFactor is just a better simulator.

Yes, it was the same way he used the throttle. He would jab the throttle many times on cornering to find /or exceed the limit before he floored it.

I used to playe race sims a few years back, F12001 & F12002 and I remember a driving a Turbo era mod which was just so awsome.
But the graphics in this vid is just awsome.
