@ryansports856 Well, I pretty much always use the harmonic minor, I don't know too much about scales to be honest with you, I never took lessons or anything, I just play what comes to mind and what I feel at the moment.

I mean, your playing it's great but pay attention to be always original and create your OWN style. To achieve this goal, it's important to listen to a lot of DIFFERENT bands and take something from everyone of them... But that's only MY opinion.

Some amps come with a delay option...so all you do is set the delay to a certain amount, then just play something, and when it's about to repeat, you just play the harmony. That's all I did, and I just bounced back and forth to the main note then the harmonized note.

The dleay speed is also going to depend on how fast you want to play. It's like using the delay to keep time for easy tracking. It's definitely a favorited technique I have picked up a long time ago from In Flames and the like.

Sampler riffs. Dude, I love the delay setting. You can do so many things with it. Self harmonization is my favourite though. Great example man. And it is not always about technicality in riffing. A lot of guitarists that can play technica; riffs at extreme speeds like to keep the timing slow. It has more feeling.
