@flocutt what I am really trying to say is that when a person from a country like Belgium or Holland visits Romania, these are the things that really stand out since they are different. We don´t have cracked up streets, kids living on the street breathing glue. I´ve had a Romanian girlfriend and she told me so much about Romania. I think the country has a lot of potential, but it´s just not yet there where it COULD be. This is not surprising when looking at the turbulent history of the country.
@flocutt Ive been to Romania as a tourist. This is what people from other countries see when they visit your country, it stands out because we do not have that. Talking about the contrast, we stayed in a great house. It was big, had a big yard, big flat screen TV, nice kitchen etc. Across the street was basically the ghetto´s with cracked up streets and big square grey flats. I do not deny the fact that Romania isn´t just gypsy´s and street children.
- The title is: Romania, country of contrasts. Therefore the movie is not only showing poor Romas, but also the incredible nice nature and so on. It was used to present our camps and the things we do in our camps. It´s not at all meant to present the country.
- I also like Romania! I even like it very much! So please, relax. I´m happy you´re proud of your country. You should!
First of all: this is no exageration at all: this pictures are made less then 1 year ago in the region of Cluj Napoca, not in some television studio or something.
But this is movie is NOT a documentary about Romania or Romanian people. It is a movie about the things our organisation (Bouworde) does in Romania.
Therefor it was not my aim to represent Romania in general, but to present our work camps in Romania.
I like Romania very much and I know it is a beautiful country!

Just some short answers:

Liedje speciaal voor Bouworde gemaakt ofzo?
Vind het nergens terug...

Het liedje komt van op de demo cd van Yevgueni, spijtig genoeg dus niet speciaal voor Bouworde gemaakt. :-)

Ah! Den demo! Het verdient zeker een plaats op een van hun full-cd's!
