Some CVPI Vics get push bars on them because the police put them on their vics and just leave them on when the sell the car

Mercury Marauder is a cop car in civilian form I know with Chevy its called the 9c1 ain't sure if ford calls it 9c1?

A Marauder isn't really a "cop car in civilian form". Its a high performance sedan. They were a popular car back in the day and were brought back for 2 years. They only made 11,057 of them. Florida highway Patrol used Marauders as cars. They were silver birch. The designation for the vin on a ford is P71. Marauders are amazing.

no it isnt. mercury marauder is DOHC 4,6 similar to the Mach 1 mustangs. the P71's are SOHC 4.6. marauder obviously has better suspension parts for stiffer handling as well as a much better interior

No, it's better and faster than a cop car. And they're rare/hard to find. Ford's police cars are P71. Civilian crown vics are P74.

The Marauder actually has a different version of the 4.6 in it. CVPI's have the 2V 4.6, with an aggressive tune. Chevy's VIN code for service vehicles is 9C1, but the PI Vics are P71.

not my car in the video, but i can tell you that's a go-rhino pushbar. the rims are standard cvpi steel, and the caps look like 2000+ ford center caps made for police interceptors. i've got the older center caps on my cruiser. 2000+ are like plates; older ones are like bowls, but overall they are fairly similar.

I own a 2007 Ford CVPI, mine is black as well, I use mine for the fire dept. I knew these cars had good steering response but damn....I didnt know you could do that with a Crown Vic.
