  • Brits are pussies, the police could never take our guns here

  • why the hell did they ban semi-auto centerfire rifles and in 1997 why did they ban handguns

ok lets say you have a car and a person is on the road and you want to run him over but you choose not why becuase about 99% of people are not sick in the head same with a gun lets say you own a gun you dont go outside and start shooting people do you its just stupid crime went up after they banned semi-autos and handguns

  • This is why we can't have nice things. Twat's like this ruin it for good innocent people.

  • Wicked person.

  • this incident reminds me of an old elton choon....Ticking

  • I rang 999 once for the police and got told all lines were busy, but dont worry somebody will be with you shortly, after about 3 minutes I hung up. they rang me back after about 15 minutes and asked me what my emergency was.gun control doesn't work and the legal system in the uk punishes the victim just as bad as the ofender the shooter in the massacre also had a 9mm pistol and an illegal thompson submachine gun why didn't use it nobody will know

  • Ah, he shot his dog. Clearly not a good guy. Dumbass.

  • Nasty low life scum - hence the call for the death penalty!!!!

  • This event and Dunblane resulted in knee jerk/vote winning legislation in the UK that banned practically all firearms from being owned by law abiding citizens.Needless to say it had NO EFFECT on criminal use of firearms. While the public were being further disarmed the criminals had a field day. After the '97 pistol ban handgun crime rocketed by 80% and overall gun crime has increased ever since.Criminals now commit crimes safe in the knowledge that their victims are very unlikely to be armed.

  • lol @ gun control. if you can read and have two hands you can construct everything from fully automatic weapons (from scratch and basic tools) to all kinds of deadly explosives (soap = TNT :D) and even nuclear content.

    BAN EVERYTHING AGAGAGAGAGAA

only policemen should have guns. because we all know they NEVER abuse their power.

  • What a major asshole! This guy is a PIG, Pathetic, Ignorant and Gutless. I love youtube, it lets us call an ass an ass.

  • Imagine how different it would have been if the car started. A wholl different group of people would have died. Fuck this loser.

  • It's always the quiet ones.....

  • @BristolRE What's this a dictatorship? Where's my comment gone? It was a fair comment. Are you trying to hide the fact that our emergency services were useless?

  • Now you brits can't get handguns or semi autos cause of him shame

  • @Dilfrud Yeah well we have the second amendment XD...Hey I'm not against people going postal keep the population down

  • @Dilfrud It appears the uploader has deleted your comment as well as mine...

  • @P1LGY Got a point there..But keep in mind this was in the 80s..The longest we had a massacre was a hour or 2 at most..Columbine was an hour...But see in England there is alot of country areas and places to hide and no one ever did this over there before Michael Ryan so why would the police be ready..Now today is different coppers now have swat teams and semi auto weapons on the ready..Actually I do believe there was a shooting there last year but it didn't last a long time

  • @CosmicDestroyer99 "Police SWAT teams with semi auto weapons at the ready" people worry about armed criminals but UK "SWAT" teams are far more dangerous and unpredictable.Training by shooting 4ftx2ft stationary targets from 10yards away hardly makes you a "Professional marksman".They have killed more innocent people than criminals.

  • @CosmicDestroyer99 No just semi-auto centrefire rifles, along with centrefire pump-action rifles. It was argued that these guns were as dangerous as semi-autos.Handgun bans came into force,in 1996&97,after Dunblane.

  • @MarineAqua45 Dunblane?..Yeah but you can still buy rifles and shotguns with a permit correct

  • @CosmicDestroyer99 Yes,thats correct, but semi-auto centrefire rifles,so they were banned because of the increased pressure put on the government to ban them & also alot of hunters didn't use them & didn't want them & never agued the case for them, strong enough,so they were banned.Pump&semi-shotguns were used as tools for duck hunters & escaped the ban, along with .22 LR pump/semi-auto rimfire rifles.Handguns were seen as Olympic sporting pieces & so were left alone, until '97.

  • @CosmicDestroyer99 Also slide-action rifles were considered more dangerous than bolts. Why they thought this out,who knows?Lefties in one corner wanting outright bans and the Conservative right-wingers,turning their noses up at non-traditional sporting arms.

  • what a fat loser this guy was such a prick

  • MONARCH Mind Control - MKULTRA - all school shootings are

  • @ElleCM2

    Idiot

  • @ElleCM2 no theyre not ... the government isnt responsible for insane people !!! crazy people have always existed you conspiracy nut!

  • Given his love of guns and willingness to use them to a violent end, I hereby nominate Michael Ryan for the title of Honorary American.

  • I have come across a few people like this, late 20s male living at home with parents, normally they are dominated mummies boys, with strange hobbies, no girlfriend, and as they get older they live almost as husband and wife.

They are always oddballs and weirdos, attention seekers, they are fucked up in the head and desperate to make a mark on the world

  • why did he shot his dog??

  • @black4pienus psychologists might have blamed it for the shooting

  • Oh my word, the acting in this is terrible.

  • thank you

  • If such a weirdo would try this stunt in the village where I live I would break out my own, legally-owned firearms and try to do my best to protect others and stop the killing rampage. I'd feel this my duty to save the live of my fellow citizens.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 What about South Africa they have pretty strict gun control. Yet in 2000 it had over seven times more gun deaths and nearly ten times more gun related homicides than America. Then you've got Australia and New Zealand, very similar two countries. Australia’s gun control is a lot stricter than New Zealand’s yet it has practically the same number of gun deaths and nearly four times the number of gun homicides.

  • Nice kill the English

  • HUNGERFORD IZ MY LAST NAME!!! SOOO CREEEPPYYYY

  • HUNGERFORD IZ MY LAST NAME!!!

  • ryt thats it am off to play gta 4

  • How the hell did he get an AK in England?

  • @TaZ101SAGA It was a variant it wasn't fully automatic.

  • @xITwiTchYIx It's still hard to get any type of gun in Britain..You have to have hunting license or something else..And handguns are illegal..But hey you know they are there on the streets

  • @xITwiTchYIx Yes, i forgot that semi-autos were legal back then.

  • @TaZ101SAGA ever heard of a firearms licence? it was a semi auto version which was legal before this massacre

  • @02dartda If you actually read my previous comment you will realise that writing that was pointless.

  • @TaZ101SAGA doesn't change the fact you wrote a dumbass comment with no research behind it

  • @TaZ101SAGA Well he obtained it on a Section 1 license permitting him to have it.Bcak in those days, applying for a semi-automatic rifle,in a centerfire calibre, was like applying for an ordinary rifle nowdays. That AK was only allowed to fire 1 shot at a time&no machine gun function on it.A target shooter who shot in service rifle(Any military automatic or bolt-action rifle:-) or practical shooter could obtain one. Also some hunters used them for foxing, like they do in other countries.

  • @MarineAqua45 I know about firearms buddy, I dont need a lecture. Thanks for the information anyway, but I simply forgot that this was the event that banned any automatic rifles above .22LR. I realise that a Semi-Automatic AKM was legal back then, I didn't at first.

  • @TaZ101SAGA ThatsOkay,I just made an assumption, based on your comments that you might not have known,as alot of people that Ive debated this with,on here, are so ignorant of the truth-as they've been brainwashed by the media-hence my lengthy lecture..lol.I respect the fact that you know your stuff on the subject&you aren't like the others, which makes a change.

  • This is one sick fuck

  • He stayed with his mom. That's the problem lol

  • lol... dumb ass narrator doesn't even know how to speak. @2:00 he says "Ryan was a quiet man, who kept himself, to himself." It would be "who kept to himself."

  • @Cansololife its just a figure of speech. it is used often where i live.

  • this is why guns are banned in the uk, too many fucking massacres. the only reason their not banned in the US is cause the country is too damn big

  • @pivotkid85

O.K so after Hungerford in 1986, they banned semi autos, then came Dunblane in 1997 and they banned handguns.....then Derrick Bird came along in 2010, doesn't look like banning guns is working too well does it?

  • lol. "ive been shot" "dont be stupid" , "oh look im dying" "Dont be daft, you stupid bitch"

  • I remember when this happened.I live in Melbourne Australia and 10 days before the Hungerford massacre on August 9,1987 Julian Knight ,19 went on a shooting spree in Hoddle St Melbourne firing indiscriminately at passing motorists killing 7 people and wounding 19 others. The Hoddle Street massacre was then the worst mass shooting in Australian history.

  • if criminals are sent to death row from the first murder attempt, it would make the world safer .. but instead they serve a certain time and out again...to the next crime.

  • Okay, so the government banned guns because of this, and the bans have got stricter and stricter up to today, to "protect innocent people"... so, government, answer me this, why are innocent people still dying by the gun with all your laws? I'll answer that for you, it's because YOUR laws and YOUR f***ed up justice system stop them from protecting themselves and there family's full stop, it's YOUR fault innocent people die, and nobody else's.

  • i admit the actors are bad lol

  • its idiots like this that are the reason honest hardworking normal brits can own guns.

    what a dick

  • @rangers11000

Nah it's honest hardworking idiots who think they need to own guns are the reason brits can't own guns.

  • @Dustbin1149Jr

    that made no sense whatsoever

  • @rangers11000

    Too bad for you then.

  • these scenarios are suspiscious..

    mind control much?

  • British Docos aren't boring, Americans are just morbid!!!

  • @shamfowler lol they need a crane shot, 27 different angles in the space of 10 seconds so they dont fall asleep lol

  • @beswick1111 Maybe it's something to do with your mental ability to concentrate? I love all british docos, as well as USA ones

  • @BristolRE and yet i can concentrate on the good ones like unsolved mysteries, or COPS, or america most wanted etc.....explain that.

  • @beswick1111

The usa ones: Im sure its a lot of great ones, but they are very of dramatized. Thats a well known different between usa and europe. sometimes I get very distracted by watching documentaries from the U.S. because of all the drama. So i really like to watch the british ones better.

    My personal opinion...

  • Comment removed

  • @beswick1111 i can see what you mean. the american ones get a bit deeper, they generally study the shooter himself to see what motivated him, whereas the british ones focus on the shooting itself and what the survivors think of it. damn, canada rarely gets a documentary on their school shootings, some of which happened only minutes from my house.

  • @beswick1111

    faggot

  • @beswick1111 I'd say this is due to the more dramatic set of american documentaries. American producers work alot with pictures, the fitting music and and emotions which makes it interesting to watch. The british and as I'm from Germany, German documentaries are more focusing on the chronology, the reserved report of events like these, trying not to make an emotional packed drama. People might find this version or the american version more interesting...

  • @beswick1111 the columbine massacre doc was a british one.

  • @beswick1111

Its not meant ti be fun, you fucking arsehole, Its an account of what happened to people when this arsehole decided to go on a killing spree. If all programs were fun, they would be called movies

  • @beswick1111 Are you american?

  • @beswick1111 your mums boring u ugly bitch.... this aint boring...

  • @beswick1111 lol it could be argued that americans are like small children... small ignorant children who need a lot of flashy action scenes to keep their attention much like the attention kids get from cartoons... lol...

  • @beswick1111 maybe because americans always seem to exhaggerate?? just imadgine yourself in the middle of this, then its not so boring.

  • @beswick1111 because american documentaries/media of the criminal genre rely on fear mongering and lies.

  • @beswick1111 It's a documentary,not a fucking action movie.Ya dildo.

  • @beswick1111 Fuck off then.

  • the REAL crime here is the acting. The "actors" should be placed in an actual massacre as punishment for their poor performance

  • Would have been tons better without the people talking in the recreations.

  • such a shame that all these people were defenceless and unable to shoot back

  • @jubbles2343 piss off bitch.

  • @KingofStarfox grow up and please try using a sensable arguement instead of sweeping generalisations. You call other people trolls but I would look in the mirror as its quite honestly you who is doing it.

  • because of her summer job she had learned to pack some sandwiches' ???you mean you nicked them from work dont you!

  • fucking twat

  • he looks dumb as fuk

  • Omg lisa Milden hall is my best freinds mum although unfortunately I think she died from her wounds.

    Which is really sad

  • I mean summer holidays

  • @Zebhorse76 it was closed because of the half term I think and yes it would be so horrible if it was open.

    RIP

  • As soon as I hear the term "they were quiet, kept themselves to themselves" - alarm bells start to ring!

  • Notice the influx of comments on this page since the massacre in Cumbria!

  • i was only 11 when this happened but remember it like it happened a few hours ago. Thank god the school he hid in was closed at the time otherwise it would have been worse RIP

  • Fucking weirdo cunt. I hope he's roasting in Hell the wrong un

  • @carlychandler I'm sure it is those communities that have been massacared like this will never be the same. I'm from northern Ireland and although not the same as Hungerford the murdering scum were comming into bars and gunning innocents down. The fear it creats is unreal I stopped going to bars because of it.

  • I really hate how our British government overreatcs, one man goes crazy despite thousands owning semi-automatic rifles, and just because one man goes crazy with them they are suddenly illegal. Same with handguns after dunblane. What are we going to do next? Ban knives after someone gets stabbed? 99% of people use them responsibly.

  • @bubby963 Indeed, how certain people react rather hysterically in fear of being restricted by the government. The government hasn't yet proposed any changes to the law. So until then, any speculation is banal. It's a good thing we have such a restriction on such weapons. How many incidents are there of an individual going on a murder spree with a knife?

  • Hungerford, Dunblane, and the Cumbria shootings which happened today

    Fuck :(

  • michael ryan = nutcase

  • michael ryan - a mother fucker, literally

  • i am from Hungerford and it still haunts this place

  • it gave the old bill a kick up the arse and showed we needed a armed police

  • What a fucking prick. I wish someone would have dropped his ass before he killed so many. It's a shame this fool screwed up the hobby of firearms shooting for everyone else.

  • @swedishvolvo Well if there were more gun owners in the area he may have been stopped. Though now if somebody fires a (now illegal) weapon at innocent people in Britain he can be pretty dang sure nobody will shoot back.

  • I remember this on the TV at the time it was just totally unbelievable! I remember being totally stunned!

  • Just want to say to all the dickheads who claim video games cause people to mirror the violence in them in real life this was probably, next to Dunblane, the worst incident of mass murder in recent British history and yet it was carried out long before realistic video games were ubiquitous.

Also, isn't it just typical of this country that we outlaw assault rifles because of one madman- why don't we outlaw knives, after all scores of people were stabbed to death last year.

  • @theporksicle they tried to blame this on the film 'Rambo'! Before VCRs Comics were blamed. The establishment is always trying to blame some sort of medium for violence never the society that makes these pleaple!

  • I hate reconstructions.

  • What a nut. Look at his face, that of a disturbed Psychopath. Now question his disturbed childhood.

  • @milnusthegnome ....no....people really don't look good in photo's actually

  • i understand mr. michael ryan's rage. i had been bullied as a boy. unlike him, i am still seeking treatment. if mr. ryan sought treatment, none of this would have to happen. mr. ryan's actions give military enthusiasts and historians a bad name.

  • @m16a1rifle .TOSSPOT.

  • The one nut out of a million takes almost all the guns away.

  • you bell end

  • it was certainly a crime that changed britain! they took are guns away!

  • Im sure the mothers of Dunblane disagree with you.

And all the black youth of london manchester

  • always dunblane.

Maybe we should hand in our cars, afterall think of all those poor children that could be saved if we do....

Dunblane was a tragedy, but the moment you attack the object rather than the criminal, you really have ignored the underlying problem.

As for black on black crime, well, again attack the gun, not the underlying cause. Proven by the fact than 99% of guns are illegal, and it still happens.

Now lets blame knives, again ignoring the underlying cause

  • @primeribs1

Our, not are. dam i hate illiterate people. No offense it is only one word out twelve. it isn't the end of the world our guns dissapeared. However there is still enough on the streets of britain, and no licence required ... just don't get caught with one

  • @tregino do you mean airguns? wippy fuckin doo.

  • @wesleypresley1000 Um no! you can buy any gun in the uk you just cant get a liccence for it anymore

  • @cu16855 - Small minded and nieve comment. Hungerford is a small quite village and i serious doubt thugs would have been in control. You numpty, by the way its crimes that shook britan not changed britan.

  • what a noob,,,,,,, good job he didnt have a noob tube.

  • You have him in society because they are a herd. Society has done nothing before him or after him because they are a herd. Teaching their kids to do well and be slaves of criminals. Paying their taxes and sitting with criminals in pubs who are most likely too abuse them.

  • I remember that day very well, i was looking at something on the maket i turned my head and seen micheal ryan dressed in his camoflarge kit staring st8 at me, as he walked past, only years later i think how lucky me my mum and baby daughter were,

  • the horses are skittish?? what does that mean?? they shite themself??

  • No no,that would be Shittish not Skittish

  • maybe the horses were playing skittles?

  • somehow! I think if everyone in that town was armed,Micheal ryan would have gotten past his third victim!

  • And then he shot himself. Why didnt the cunt just do that at the start and leave everybody else alone?

  • LOL!

  • That's the official story. The school windows were replaced the next week.

  • @Paxrep because then nobody would remember him and this is what these fuckers crave.

  • @Paxrep It wouldn't be a very interesting programme then would it?

  • @Paxrep go fuck yourself arse hole

  • @Paxrep I always think that when I hear of similar cases too! Just eliminate the main problem & save the rest! :)

  • @Paxrep cos he was aiming to level up and get ac130

  • @Paxrep Cos he hated everyone. Then again i heard he was a pretty lonely guy and you have to remember that nobody chooses to be lonely. They are usually cast out of society and chanced are its was a series of casting outs and general ignoring that cumulated to this fit of rage.

  • @mrdojob I live on my own and I dont feel like going out and wiping out all round me with an AK. Cant make excuses for people who are just full of badness

  • @Paxrep Everyone deals with it different tho. Some can live a full happy life, some a full but unhappy life, some suicide and sometimes mass murder like in this case. I even got to the stage of being really really depressed and suicidal and trust me once you reach that stage you have no emotion at all and enter an almost zombie like state with no empathy and little remorse. Once that happens all manner of crap can happen and if you wanna kill yourself anyway whats the limits of the crimes?

  • @mrdojob If people want to kill themselves then why dont they do just that and not take some other poor bastard with them? Think some of those parents in Dunblane arent depressed?????? Are they gonna go out and shoot some poor fucker???????????

  • @Paxrep Well you have to remember some people just do kill people when they are suicidal because they blame there problems on someone else (to a degree it usually is the cumulative fault of others that got the shooters into such a state in most shootings). Its always been like that and always will and preventing it is impossible.

Remember on once people get suicidal they are impossible to predict, have nothing to loose and can get away with any crime they like no matter how serious.

  • @Paxrep because he's a mexican, and mexicans are too dumb and coward like to do something like that.

  • if any of you guys live close to where this happened then you would know it was a horrible day. but its happened. and he was a mentalist lol. but trust me this town is sccarred for life now

  • I think this guy Ryan may have been autistic. As the documentary says, he shunned socialising and dedicated himself entirely to his guns. He should never have been allowed to own a gun.

  • The Thames Valley police were a bit lazy in,not constantly checking up on him properly(He was known to be a little bit weird, but a cheerful character, when he visited the police station)and in those days, licensing enforcement and gun security, wasn't as strict as it is now.

Hamilton, who killed at Dunblane was a free-mason and so there was major corruption there and he didn't have his license revoked cause of his influential contacts in the police and in the scottish legal system.

  • Thames Valley Police were more than "a bit lazy" - they knew Ryan was shooting up road-signs around Hungerford from his car, but didn't do anything about it. Not to mention the half-dozen or so people they actually directed INTO the killing zone through sheer incompetence once the shooting had started. Read "One Man's Massacre" by Jeremy Josephs.

Hungerford and Dunblane were failures of policing, not legislation.

  • @beastatlay I've found a contrary opinion from a review on amazon.co.uk for "Hungerford: One Man's Massacre (Paperback)" (search it - can't post web links here).

In which the following is said: "I feel safe in saying that Josephs doesn't believe - nor did any official investigation believe - that the Thames Valley Constabulary could have done anything more or better than they did."

  • @beastatlay I read that book and it didn't totally blame the Thames Valley Police as Officer Roger Brereton was killed soon after the shooting spree took place. What could you expect Thames Valley Police to do when their Armed Units only have shotguns and Ryan had Automatic Assault Rifles!!! It was a trebille event and so many people lost their innocence that day!!! R.I.P all

  • @beastatlay shooting street signs ain't a sign that someone is gonna kill everyone he sees tho. Its wishful thinking to think that the police will link street sign shooting and a mass murder about to happen

  • obsesive compulsive maybe but autistic people arent violent

  • then again, he would probably have illegally bought a gun if the police denied him one, (if theres a will theres always a way)
