its amazing, it has online but a lot of people that have no lives play online and whoop your ass, but single player is sooo much fun on its own, till it releases i would suggest renting skate 2 to see if you like it because it looks almost exactly the same except in a new city. controls are easy too

i Hope that they refined the walking and when you pop out from a rail. The skater poped out way to high for it to look real. I would also like it if they made the character actually look like his trying to catch himself from falling when he falls of the skateboard. It just looked stupid the way they fell in the previous games

yeah they refined the walking....the trick to walking in skate 2 is to use both sticks to control your character and the camera and it works perfectly....also the hardcore mode makes things look more realistic....less magnet rails, you actually have to kill the stick to get good pop....good stuff

i agree to some degree on that statement. i love to skate but i also love skating games, i dont play them all day though. i play them at night when its too dark to skate or when its raining and i cant go out and skate, i dont see a problem in doing that. but yes, to people that play them obsessively and dont even skate, i dissaprove.
