I know it's weird but when I heard Alex Kingston speak about her role I felt the urge to shout at my computer screen and say 'Spoilers' to her. I love how her character has evolved and I love that she's the only one in the series that connects the previous doctors thus giving a continuity to the show.
Not sure about Moffat, though. I bet he already had the whole series 6 in his head that time.
Captain Jack never said where he got the gun. I figure he got the squareness gun from River, in the future, where she gave it to him in exchange for him eventually recovering her memory from the computer (kind of like the matrix of Galifrey) and recreating her. (she's not dead)
I know that it's meant to be the happily ever after and 'lalala she survived and can stay in the computer forever'... but really? after travelling in the tardis for so long, i doubt she's want to live in a statley home for all eternity.
@megabethbob I think the Library can be anything you desire. Whatever you can imagine, that's what it will be. And with all the books in existence. . . there must be a limitless supply of imagined worlds and beings.

did anyone else pay close attention to what Steven Moffat said at 9:24? "the title of the show is the question. Doctor Who?" don't u see that proves it. "Doctor Who?" is the oldest question in the universe and the one that Moffat is referring to in the current series. I was right!
Lol River Song is absolutely amazing, I always love to watch her suddenly take control over situations leaving the Doctor dumbstruck. (Probably one of the reasons he loves her)
I don't care for River/10. They just don't have the chemistry on any level. River/11 on the other hand, loads of chemistry. Friendship, romance, sexual, all of it is there with 11.
And I do agree with Donna on 10 being "pretty", meh. 8 was The Oncoming Pretty, 10 was a pale shadow of that.

Theta Sigma!" -- recalled in the words River carved in the cliff face in "Old High Gallifreyan", save for two recognizably Greek letters, theta sigma. I suspect T.S. is not his name, but his initials or a shorthand. How would one abbreviate Romanadvoratrelundar to two letters, anyway? If that's the true styling of Gallifreyan names...

Hence Eleven's more familiar reaction to River when they hooked up for "Time of the Angels". what's great about river song is that she has to have chemistry with most, if not all, the doctors. and her character is basically in love with all the doctors. It's like loving one man's essence which is present in different kinds of men. I envy her that way!!! :P

It's strange how she now mentions that at some point in the future he's going to trust her completely, while in the fifth series she's obviously not trusted by the Doctor yet. She said that he's soon going to find out who she is, and that's when everything changes. I assume changed for the worse, seeing as she killed somebody and she's obviously not traveling with him anymore in these episodes (while if she were to be trusted completely, he'd keep her close). I dunno, just confused.
Alex Kingston is brilliant as River Song. Love the chemistry between her and David's Doctor. And much love for Donna at *pretty boy* the expression on her face is GENIUS. And yes the foreknowledge that River had of Donna is heart-breaking.
I really hope River doesn't end up being (just to name a few popular theories) Rose, Romana, or even the Doctor himself from the future. That would be cheap. Whoever she ends up being to the Doctor, she should remain her own person. Also I like how she's the sole character that bridges(and connects) the Davies era and the Moffat era.
