John the band was fantastic (especially to that trombonist WOW), as were you.
One thing I must confess, is the sound of the band (and you) being like a recording. They sound great, but I much prefer the rawer, more "live" sounding band and especially the drums like in previous videos (IE, China Boy Solo).
Thank you Michael. Mike Pointon is wonderful. He knows his stuff.
Re: the sound. This video sound track was recorded with two micrphones, in front of the band into my hard disc recorder.
The raw sound you like on some of the other videos is from the camera captured sound - which in the case of the Harlow gigs is enhamced by the hall acoustics.
That was awesome, I am so glad I got to see you solo. I got a big kick out of the Gene Krupa fill. The whole band sounded fantastic. Love the videos if you ever tour in the US I am there.
what a snooz-fest of a "solo"

John, the ending is missing! The last few bars. Can you rectify this?

Thank you for the comments. It is just too long to get within the 10 minute YouTube rule.
Chez is a rarity as a left handed cornettist. he is not alone. Nick LaRocca was also left handed.
Keep swinging

John, this is excellent! Wonderful drum solo! Your own style plus Baby and Gene.
Left-handed cornettist? Never known this before.
