I live in switzerland, what basically means none of my friends know the doctor, or ever heard of it. It's really frustrating not being able to talk about doctor who 'til your back in the internet again.
I like doctor who for different reasons. one is becuase there is always some kind of emotional bond between the characters.. and that kinda gets to me, another is because most of the epidsodes are really really good, and if they are 2-part epidsodes... i practically die waiting a week for the next one to come on. of course as you said, there are a few verry verry bad episodes.... none of which i really like. though all-in-all i seriously love doctor who.

I like Doctor Who because it's basically showing you can do with your imagination. All the aliens in the show are little things that were in the writer's imagination, and I think that makes it all the more special, because it shows that even the tiniest of things that you imagine can be brilliant.

I love Doctor Who because of the events and what takes place. The fact that the creators of Doctor Who can let their mind wander so far into what they think will be the future is amazing and sometimes really has me scared that the events will actually happen. Plus the added funny characters and amazing villains has me enjoying every episode, bad and good. And your Mom's impression of the Dalek was funny and her figurine was cute. :D
I like Doctor Who because of the story lines, they are so well planned out. I live in Canada and the episodes here never mesh together the way Doctor Who does. Also the characters are well developed. One of the strange things why I love it is that there's death in it. I hate watching TV and only the bad people die, death is something we have to deal with on a day to day basis and media chooses to ignore it which I think is wrong. Good people die in Doctor Who all the time and I respect that.
I absolutely love Doctor Who. We don't have BBC America, but somehow my sister was watching it? I don't know how! Anyway, yes, I also hate The Unicorn and the Wasp. No idea why I love it. Maybe because...
1. It's British. We Americans adore you British. ;)
2. It's creepy, but not SO creepy that I would freak out.
3. David Tennant.
4. It's funny and interesting.

First, Doctor Who is awesome and is now my favorite tv show too and I've only been watching it for less than a year. Second, my whole family think I'm weird for liking a show about a british accented 900 year old alien that travels around in a blue box defending Earth from all who try to destroy London. Don't have a favorite episode, but I'm not saying there aren't bad episodes though. Love David Tennant, Matt Smith, Christopher Eccleston (Yes Eccleston!), and Tom Baker (4th doctor)!

I bought some Chameleon Circuit songs over the summer because they were awesome. However, I had absolutely no idea what they were talking about. About a month ago, I started watching Doctor Who, and I am absolutely obsessed. I love the great episodes, and the horrible ones are just as good (: And I even understand all the Chameleon Circuit songs now! The acting is generally brilliant, even when it's cheesy. Doctor Who is my favorite show ever!

A wasp falls in love with a human and they have a kid wasp and the kid wasp does the killing and doesn't actually fall in love.
But anyway, I love Doctor Who because there's just so much to it. Part of it is the infinite possibilities to the show and part of it is the community that sprung up around it.
Doctor Who is just amazing. Probably the best show I have or ever will see.
Doctor Who = pretty much the best thing ever to happen to television.
I'll admit that the concept of "The Unicorn And The Wasp" is pretty ridiculous, but I give it a 9 out of 10 based off of A) Agatha Christie and B) Ten's incredibly smexy smirk. It's just a fun episode... I miss episodes like that... I want Moffat to take them to Cardiff...

Doctor who is a really good show. For Christmas I saw a big present and I thought it was a build your own TARDIS but it turned out to be a ping pong table.I was so sad. I have to agree there are some bad episodes.

I like Doctor Who because of the story lines, they are so well planned out. I live in Canada and the episodes here never mesh together the way Doctor Who does. Also the characters are well developed. One of the strange things why I love it is that there's death in it. I hate watching TV and only the bad people die, death is something we have to deal with on a day to day basis and media chooses to ignore it which I think is wrong. Good people die in Doctor Who all the time and I respect that.

I absolutely love Doctor Who. We don't have BBC America, but somehow my sister was watching it? I don't know how! Anyway, yes, I also hate The Unicorn and the Wasp. No idea why I love it. Maybe because...
1. It's British. We Americans adore you British. ;)
2. It's creepy, but not SO creepy that I would freak out.
3. David Tennant.
4. It's funny and interesting.
5. Lots of great moments created by Russell T. Davies.

First, Doctor Who is awesome and is now my favorite tv show too and I've only been watching it for less than a year. Second, my whole family think I'm weird for liking a show about a british accented 900 year old alien that travels around in a blue box defending Earth from all who try to destroy London. Don't have a favorite episode, but I'm not saying there aren't bad episodes though. Love David Tennant, Matt Smith, Christopher Eccleston (Yes Eccleston!), and Tom Baker (4th doctor)!

i love Doctor who because the doctor has a spazzy, brilliant, and hilarious personality. Everyone wishes they were the companion and after watching one episode, you are so compelled to watch all of them. and probably also because I am an American whovian, and i thing everything you British do is completely adorable. After watching doctor who, it always leaves me talking and even THINKING in a British accent :) love you and your songs :)

I bought some Chameleon Circuit songs over the summer because they were awesome. However, I had absolutely no idea what they were talking about. About a month ago, I started watching Doctor Who, and I am absolutely obsessed. I love the great episodes, and the horrible ones are just as good (: And I even understand all the Chameleon Circuit songs now! The acting is generally brilliant, even when it's cheesy. Doctor Who is my favorite show ever!

Charlie, you got the description of "The Unicorn and The Wasp" wrong.
A wasp falls in love with a human and they have a kid wasp and the kid wasp does the killing and doesn't actually fall in love.
But anyway, I love Doctor Who because there's just so much to it. Part of it is the infinite possibilities to the show and part of it is the community that sprung up around it.
Doctor Who is just amazing. Probably the best show I have or ever will see.

Doctor Who = pretty much the best thing ever to happen to television.
I'll admit that the concept of "The Unicorn And The Wasp" is pretty ridiculous, but I give it a 9 out of 10 based off of A) Agatha Christie and B) Ten's incredibly smexy smirk. It's just a fun episode... I miss episodes like that... I want Moffat to take them to Cardiff...

Doctor who is a really good show. For Christmas I saw a big present and I thought it was a build your own TARDIS but it turned out to be a ping pong table.I was so sad. I have to agree there are some bad episodes.
