  • dammmn, blue ras[berry can singgg, this is classic hiphop, one of my favourite raekwon tracks

  • @sativascience I'm not from the east but you're right. People talk like hip-hop is generally black culture but it's not. The East defeats hip-hops defamed image and represents the art the best. Hip-hop is the most lied about genre out there. Ras Kass, Eminem, and Erule were so talented in their prime that they're mistaken to be from ny though they're not. I hope hip-hop can be one nation as long as ones a MC despite it.

  • @daijinzraleighpark Hip-Hop Is Generally A Black Culture.. Lets Never Overlook That.. Just Like Rock & Roll, R&B, Jazz, Gospel... Hip-Hop Is Universal Now But When It Started In The Inner City In NYC Everybody Slept On It. Now Its The Most Dominant Genre Of Music.. FYI NY Is Where It Started So We Hold The Standard Of What An Emcee Is. Don't Get Me Wrong There Are Plenty Talented Emcees From Other Places Aroound The World But NY Will Always Be The Mecca Of Hip-Hop..

  • @AirPegasus777 nyc represents truth of hip hop, intelectual rap, westcoast is more violent and less poetic..

  • @nabuchiznasar NY Is Where It Was Formed As In The West They Were Dealing With More Violence Than Us NY'ers At The Time.. With Riots, Police Brutality, Gangs, Then Add The Violwnce The Drug Epidemic Brought Then You'll Understand Why They Were So Angry..

  • blunt blazin typa song

  • yeah its heavey shit

  • @1DerekRubin1, Could not agree more with you man. The Wu-Tang Clan is one of the most well thought out and talented groups of all time, philosophically, lyrically, and otherwise. The RZA is one of the most exalted wisemen of our generation, and all those who have had the honor of working with him, are in the same category. Check out "The Wu-Tang Manual", and "The Tao Of Wu" if you wish to know more about them, and understand more of their work.

  • imo the only albums that can compare to this is me against the world and the chronic illmatic is way overrated....

  • Rae's story telling is amazing

  • you gotta understand this songs messege to feel it... especially the shit they talk at the end of the song, too bad its not in the video... "blink of an eye and you're gone baby, return to the casket"

  • Love the interplay between Rae and Ghost here.

  • Jesus Christ is the answer to the hiphop generations void

  • damn dis ma nigga song;miss you brother"/

  • wu>biggie smalls

  • @ssyphilis nah

  • @ssyphilis ....Two different types of hip-hop. Can't compare 'em, Biggie's was more Gangster Rap and Wu-Tang wasn't.

  • @ssyphilis for me yeah easyly

  • i juss love this song no shiit off top i wish they wounld make music like this again

  • i finally bought this cd in 06'..i was always just a ghostface fan but when i bought ironman and heard how rae murdered everything on that cd i had to buy this shyt..and now ghost and rae round out my top 5

  • I wish they wuda put anotha verse on it instead of talkin the wholr time

  • @InphaGreenQnz but they say some of the realest shit ever though homie, word up

  • what happen to the world of hip hop? I mean what happen to the type of music 2PAC and Biggie made? Todays radio is just a bunch of fucking fakes. We need to bring this shit back you see what im sayin.

  • Best song on the album with Wu-Gambinos. Am I right?

  • @NewYorkFlavour

NOPE! incarcerated scarfaces... Boston is better then new york by the way.

  • @StreetFam1000 Boston is a cool city, I've been there twice. I know there's an insecurity among you Bostonians, it must suck to live in the shadow of the greatest city on Earth. Just be happy you live in one of the cooler cities in the country, and stop letting jealousy rear its ugly head. And we have a cooler accent too. Why do you think the best rap comes from NY? The only good rapper I know from Boston is Guru, but he fucking moved to NY.

  • @NewYorkFlavour loooool he did move to new york :D

  • @venomflows1 u mean ATL right? Dats where rae moved to

  • @armita22 im talkin about guru not rae

  • @NewYorkFlavour

Yo, Mr. Lif? Akrobatik? Both from Boston.

I'm from New York myself, and I don't claim that Boston's better than NY.

But there's dope MC's all over, man.

  • @NewYorkFlavour you can copy every one elses swag (LA, the south) sayin that trap shit and gangbangin and your sports team suck dick so it straight

  • @Mark53190

New York City created "swag". Hip-hop was born in New York City, and all the greatest hip-hop comes from there. LA, the South, they just want to shine in our glory, but they will never be anything next to us. And I don't watch sports.

  • @NewYorkFlavour and look at you know every nyc rapper is a fucking hater on everything, one dude does good hes a clown, one dude sells records hes garbage, get over yourself.

  • @Mark53190 You are such a shitty writer that I can't even follow what you're saying. Red-state education?

  • @NewYorkFlavour get off your dick

  • @Mark53190 Is that a yes?

  • @NewYorkFlavour Verbal Intercourse, Rainy Dayz, Knowledge God. Take your pick, you are right. All the tracks-Timeless Hip-Hop

  • @NewYorkFlavour id say wu gambinos is best song in the album..

  • I'm all about techs and checks wit nuff respect. You front? I'm slamming you like the Lex! So now I'm on the night fly. Rocking that real nigga don't die, guess down, draws kani!

Seriously one of the illest songs ever made. Wu-Tang gets respect but not nearly enough, especially Raekwon

  • @HelloIAmBaked Agreed! Hip Hop never died, it went underground!

  • ey whats that remix called which has this beat, but a little faster, and Tupac rappin to it.

  • @HelloIAmBaked yuppppp. said it perfectly. when i hear other people drivin by blastin ill ass golden age rap, i think of doing the same thing and burnin a fat ass blunt. we all know whats up with real hip hop. fuck anything played on daytime radio....88.9 WERS

  • I love the high note in the begining

  • sick is all i gotta say

  • more like healing god, PEACE. :-)

  • dopeness!

  • I absolutely love the Wu solo albums. Even solo-wise, they release the sickest albums. My favs are this and GZA's Liquid Swords. To me, this is better on a musical standpoint and a more complete album to me, although Liquid Swords is the sickest album ever on a lyrical standpoint. GZA has got complex lyrics for days.

  • Supreme Clientele yo

    And Ironman

  • i love this original more then the Ashanti one she made

  • what do you believe in?

    Heaven or hell.

you dont believe in heaven cuz were living in hell.!

  • slept on classic

  • One of those tracks that's smoother than syrup.

  • BEST WU SOLO ARTIST ALBUM CHEF RAEKWON

  • I don't Know the GZA's album was insanely amazing but so was this one it's a toss up between the two

  • I'm a big hip hop fan and I can't believe I haven't heard this shit yet.

  • haha what the hell? how? no offense but, how old are you?

  • I'm 18 man, I'm a fan of the Wu, have a few of their albums, just never checked out this solo joint

  • You gotta get this and Liquid Swords ... gives you glimpse into the soul of the WU.

Production, flow and writing with substance.

  • What? You listen to Wu but never checked OB4CL out?

  • im 16 and i love this too bro

  • some people talk shit about listening to older music. to me its like 90's rap is to modern rap as 60's-70's soul is to modern R&B: even no comparison.

  • truth

  • hip hop isn't dead it's just not mainstream anymore. if you want real hip hop then fill up your ipod with music that makes sense. stop listening to radio stations that play the same hip-pop dance songs every five minutes. Get some real classic shit that you can understand.

  • @wassabiman the point is that not many can or want to understand... look at this track, it hardly goes more classic than this... incredible

  • @wassabiman couldn't have said it any better hey one love fam

  • U could always hear when RZA's on the board....listen to that shitt!! dirty yet melodic

  • old school shit thats whats up back in the early 90's when Hip Hop was true
