I laughed almost pittifully at these affairs where the general public in India are burndened with huge taxes to pay for these kinds of things. It would be much better if we could get rid of the idea that our parliament house is some kind of a monument to celebrate democracy. There is no democracy in India apart from the somewhat free and fair elections conducted every five years throughout the country.
