flameblast dragon is truly the best card to open in draft, i would kno, i opened a foil one and im not good at draft and i went 6-1 with a mediocore deck. all i did was play the dude and every matchup, swing for 11-12 in the air... nuts just nuts
So I went GP KC and was on the podcast "The Magic School Bus" , i think that's the right name, for like...two minutes. But all in all, the weekend rocked, it so nice to see the pros that I've come to discuss regularly in my team, and to actually meet them was amazing. I fe like an idiot however when I met Chapin, I couldn't think of anything to say and probably looked like a total dumbass. -Sigh-
I went to Grand-Prix Kansas and I had a ton of fun playing but I didn't make day too, though I did kill some people with Mycoloth + Realm Razor... Armageddon when I'm making 4 1/1 a turn isn't remotely fair.
It seems like evan has been listening to alot of 60s music, because it appears many times in the episode. i dont think its a problem though, its just a bit too unconventional for my taste. I admit, the new lighter music does compliment the friendly atmosphere to an extent.
I like that the Magic Show is different every time. Sometimes it's a rant, sometimes it's deck tech, sometimes it's a bunch of pros talking about limited, but it's always great. Keep up the great work!
hahaah i love all the people who say "professional magic Player" you can't play magic for a living, there isn't enough payouts as. You'd litteraly have to win at least 2 pro tours a year to call that your job. Very short episode evan, not a big fan of the talkers
Caldera Hellion really is a good card to me. I mean, normaly 3 damages can kill most creatures, and the ones that you control that would die : you just eat them ^^.
seriously, watching all these videos and seeing all these great players play with the same cards I do in draft and saying which ones they like the most makes me enjoy magic all the more for some reason. another great episode Evan!
You have to remember how many people are there and how well you are going to hear when so much is going on the in background. In any case...wait..was the Shaheen Soorani!? Dude!! That guy is GOOD. Hopefully I'll get to see him on Saturday before the PTQ.
Yup, I used to game with that guy (Dan) He has made them from mostly commons, but the one he was sporting was 50 Grim Reminders...Crap rare but still a rare
Yup, i used to game with that dude (Dan). Usually he made them from Ravnica commons and basic lands, but the one he was sporting was Grim Reminder (50 copies a hat). A crap rare but still a rare
good episode....i dont think shards has brought us anything but great sealed fun...i cant see any shards having any staples for type 2....mabey conflux but i dont know
Why do I love Steve Sadin so much. "He just waps it down and next turn I'm takin' 11. I don't know what just happened! I thought I was winning!" It happened to me too Steve haha!

This has been flagged as spam show
I think MTG should let anyone to play in World's or give an alternate way to get in , like if a player plays xxx number of games.
There like 1 million MTG players and look at how many hit this video gotten, only 4,085...
You know why? Because by limiting the number of people to play at this event, they limit the appeal of the game.

Something was up with the sound though.
