That is true to a point, it wasn't fully developed stealth technology though, they did have more recessed engines, and more rounded surfaces, but a lot of it's lower radar cross section was due to it's wooden construction, which was far less visible than metal surfaces.

There is no denying though, they were definitely, headed in nthe direction of it.
