What other sport is a "true" expression of oneself, has so many facets that can be improved upon, and requires as much focus? Many of the "extreme" sports lack ANY martial aspect, not to say they are not fun, just that IMHO the point of life is to interact with other humans. A wave will do the same thing with or without a rider, a curb will never shoot back no matter how many times you nose grind it; a human will always change, always require adaptation, and will keep you on your toes.

One day while playing paintball at Camp Pendleton, I had an epiphany..... I knew I liked the game, before that day I couldn't really put my finger on it, what it was that made it so much fun. I had over 150 days at Camp Pendleton alone, and played more than a lot of pros.... I just knew I loved it. But it came to a clear, concise nugget of knowledge when I realized it was as simple as this......  All the things I would get the most in trouble in my youth was admired and integral to paintball
