Thank you SinSensor! You just saved me some money! Don't Spend alot of money on fancy high pressure showerheads, just reach your needlenose pliers in your new or old showerhead and pull out that blue water saver insert. Then you'll have a great high pressure showerhead. Excuse me while I go take a long hot shower.....
Too Pricey, hard to find but very pretty. I got a (less pretty) EcoCamel instead. Cheaper, about half the price, but it turns out it saved no water or electricity because my Mira Sport shower was already water efficient! Slightly stronger flow sensation from the aeration through.
If you want to get a really great shower with this showerhead, add an "EnergyShower Steam Canopy" to your tub or stall, and keep all the heat and steam in the shower. Helps to save energy and you get an incredible shower, too.
Katie, is your old showerhead for sale? (the one you compared the oxgenics to). I like that old style cirucular design of it. Ill pay $20 plus s/h for it. Let me know, thanks!
Most shower heads available in the US have an element of aerating to them. All (that I know of) come new with a small plastic "water saver" insert...it increases pressure while decreasing volume.
Usually, this insert can be removed should the buyer prefer volume over pressure, by simply pulling it out before installation.
sorry. only one more comment. I bought mine because of low pressure problems. This makes high pressure because the holes are small. So if your home has low pressure you will get a high pressure shower with using alot of water.
I use what is called a 'navy shower head'. It has very small holes and also a manual shut off. You get a very hard blast of water with small droplet size. It wets you well and feels like lots of water but in reality you use very little water. It cost between 5 and 10$ US dollars. You get 'high pressure/low volume' similar to the principle used in car washes.
@PitPat23 You think that's bad? I worked with someone from New Zealand before. Seemed that the lady never took a shower. Never forget that overpowering smell of b.o. every day when you pull into work. For someone like that, I'd buy her a firehose rather than one of these water saving showers.
"it runs off of you in a more soft way, it dosen't bounce all over the place"
Many years ago there was a showerhead manufacturer named "rainjet" there the ones who invented the massage setting on your showerhead. The only problem is, is that the water would bounce off you. Like she said.
Although these shower heads have long been discontinued and forgotten there are probably some still out there they made them to well.
Seriously why didn't you turn the water on to show everyone? What a rip off.

Like this comment if you watched it to see the shower's head.
Dislike this comment if you watched it to see Katie's head.

When you said 3 people could now use the shower, you didn't mean at the same time? Did you? (:

I looked mine up. It is the Alsons 652 C Incredible Head Power Shower Head, Chrome.
Very cheap, all metal, very durable, with easy shut off so you can soap up and turn back on without readjusting temperatures
