The spider in this video is awesome, I would love to hold a spider that big. As for the parrot, I would make the same assumption too if it nipped me like that. It's a natural and normal response. There are many videos of praying mantises reaching for the camera, and people assume they are attacking it, when they just want to climb up.

Tarantulas don't actually get that aggressive to mankind. Unless they've no other option open to them, or feel unacceptably threatened, most tend to be relatively docile. However, a Goliath does have huge fangs and could feasibly inflict a deep and painful bite if it so decided. Bad bee-sting my backside; a friend of mine in Swansea kept a tarantula that turned round and bit him one day and it hurt.
