I really love this design. Seems to be fairly prevalent in the marketplace for these things recently. I was wondering if anyone has destruction tested one of these units yet. & if the results are posted anywhere yet. ;-)
It smooths and improves the airflow behind the engine (no turbolence), because exhaust comes out only from the turbine blade ring but nor from the central shaft section. It also operates some changes in pressure of the exhaust gases.
Nice setup! where do you have found those rotors? they doesnt seem to be ordinary turbochargers rotors. more like turbomolecular vacuum pump... do u have more info/website about engine?
i built a valved pulse jet engine but there are a lot of ideas in my head about building a turbine jet engine from scrap.
have you got a link to plans of a jet engine or have you got any drawn plans of your engine on a homepage or so? i am very interested in your construction.
Where you bought this engine ? if you have build this engine , how much dollars have you put in this construction?? i am very interest by this jet engine !! thanks you for your response !
ARRGH it lookes like I have to contine because a comment cant contain more than 500 characters! CONTINUATION: ,so it will keep combusting the same amount of fuel 1-2 minutes. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION! READ MY FULL 3PART COMMENT ON HIS OTHER VIDEO: "MY JET MODAL ENGINE TURBINE START UP" FOR MORE INFORMATIONPLEASE, OR EMAIL ME AT "youtube com / 342118" and click send message!
You pumped way to much fuel into the engine before start up, (the flames are the over filled engine with fuel combusting it all) that is bad for the engine, could cause your engine to BLOW UP! THIS ALSO DOES DECREASE YOUR MODELS EFFIENCY BY A LOT! you see, even though the flames go away and you think all of that fuel is gone, when it started up with that much fuel it's thinks it needs this much fuel unless if you have a starting kit which it doesent look like you don't have,
that is proving that he had way to much fuel in the engine at start up, ¨THE ENGINE COULDN'T EVEN COMBUST ALL THE FUEL AT START UP DUMBASS (DUMBASS=timboy666) GIVE IT TO SOMEBODY WHO KNOWS ABOUT JET ENGINES LIKE ME!!!!
The increase in power you are seeing with the cone (which creates a diverging nozzle) is from less of a minor loss, because you have less flow separation, and the post turbine gasses aren't just being dumped into the rear end when teh cone is in place. An external converging nozzle will increase the velocity, this actuall increase pressure, and creates a forward pressure gradient along the cone as well. So not only are running more efficiently, you get more thrust as well. Its a combo deal.
Did u make this or buy it??

After a blade broke lose at 100'000RPM, you
can ask later you doctor, when he will have
removed the engine parts from your body.

I dont really get what a cone is supposed to do on a turbine

Flames = bad for turbine, got a wet start, stop ignition n blow the fuel out

i think the ratio is not good engine is pumping tooo much fuel and less air

It looks kind of like it was spitting out some fuel at 17-18 seconds.

its all about Velocity, the cone increased the Velocity of the gas coming out the back

Whats the difference between a cone and a non-cone?
xXxmidgexXx 5 years ago
with the cone l get about 9% more power.

Small but still pretty cool. NICE sounds, reminded me of the Twilight Zone at times lol.
