Out of curiosity, who is the maker? They have an interesting timbre. They do sound and look a bit like Scapoli pipes though. Most likely your maker copied Scapoli pipes. Do you play Italian music too, or just Medieval stuff?
@dmarker21 The pipes were made by Marco Ciancaruso of Chiasso, Switzerland. I mainly play early music stuff as that's where I'm heading, hence the DC pipes I play on Pepper's Black.
Scapoli? That's not the maker I got them off. Please let me know what or who you're on about. Using bellows was my idea as it's how I've played pipes for several years and it keeps the instrument more stable. As well as dancing I've got round to calling the dances at the same time, it's took some time to get there!
