  • Although it was the 80's song, it's style still very pop. Can't listen any similar song nowadays !

  • Top Of The Pops,it's as though it was only yesterday.....thank you for the memories...

  • q fea

  • @fccapital09 chupala

  • It would have been Madonna's best song ( the used to be my playground being a close second) BJK

  • Top of the pops !

  • They wrote this for Madonna but did'nt have the courage to give it to her in fear of rejection.

  • @dwad112 It is "Heart", not "Love Comes Quickly" LOL:)

  • @Actuallysalemslot You misunderstood, i meant they wrote it for Mad Donna who lives down the block from me...shes mental!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

  • Chris used to move a lot more, didn't he?

  • neil was soooo cute 25 years ago, still is, somehow.

  • If you ever get a chance to see them live DO IT!! Don't think about it. Just go see them live. I saw them in San Francisco and it was a WICKED show. One of the best concerts I've ever been too. I hope to see them again someday.

  • Top of the Pops !!!

  • Bir Zamalar

  • Bir Zamalarrr

  • pertan. To answer your question, the show is Top of the pops from late Feb/Early March 1986 in the UK.I remember watching the show regularly back then.Don't know if they sang it live though.Anyway who cares. This for me is the best and ultimate Pet shop boys song ever. And so underrated and under played.Such a shame.Great post pertan. Benja :-)

  • asyik lipsync aje... naek bosan gua tengok..

  • ....This remains my favorite Pet Shop Boys recording of all time....it's still on my playlist today....Neil Tennant's vocal performance and Chris Lowe's keyboard playing are haunting....thanks for posting this classic.... Peace!

  • ...."brilliant"....

  • one of their best songs ever!

    stunning!

  • this is music!

    awesome

  • Chris is perfect in that time and always.

  • 80's RULE...no doubt about it

  • It was BBC1's Top of the Pops.

  • This HIT is one of my favorites Pet Shop Boys songs, it's just brilliant.

  • One of the best songs from the 80s. So calm, but so powerful. Just great.

  • Was it from the Roxy ? on ITV

  • hehe very rare Chris playing and dancing very good video

  • it's a lip synch, not a live performance. still great though.

  • This show could only have been TOTP?

  • neil is so fit handsome x

  • At 0:46 great close up....hahahah

  • was it the 1986 MTV video awards?

i have all thier stuff..and im 36...i heard bands like PSB depeche mode...erasure..and i really loved how they used machines..in the 80s dance music was all over the radio..and now no one dances anymore..i miss those days..the woman were absolutly stunning, they went all out..dressed very sexy...and now? You tell me...

  • God, Neil Tennant's voice is fucking perfect even live.

  • unfornately it's playback, but he does sing well live:)

  • @CogsApricot Actually is lip-singing. Some programs demand that. Notice that is exactly like the song, and the end the song slowly finishes cause they are playing it from the OG song. I know it sucks huh

  • @CogsApricot

sorry to say but this song is played from tape totally, including vocals =) I'm a fan but thats just how it is for this gig

  • This is from March 20th 1986, Simon Mayo had just been introduced to the show.

  • Love the close up of Chris' crotch. LOL!

  • Who cares in your not a "homo". Nobody knows you nor cares!

  • This is from "Top Of The Pops" UK Show

  • The PSB rule!!! Great songs, intellingent lyrics, wonderful melodies... What else is there to wish for??? Hope they keep doing that in the many years to come.

  • A quintessential 80s song, and one of my favourite PSB tracks of all time.

  • genius.

  • This song is the best in Please album ! love it !

  • how could we dont love this song?....

  • this is THE song that converts me to a psb fan at around the same year! never look back since...my god! its been 21 over years and they're still going on strong!

  • Love Comes Quickly's the least flawed song I've ever heard.

oO(If only the slightly tacky chorus *cooing* wasn't necessary.)

  • someone is the audience is wearing the BOY cap. cool...def one of my fav songs by them

  • oh this the great vid i have seen in the vh1's interview

  • A mi parecer, una de las mejores canciones de los PSB. Hermosos recuerdos vividos en mi natal tierra, Peru. Chicas, fiestas ,tragos, juerga. Saludos a mi hermano Rodrigo.

  • They are great, but this greater

  • muy linda cancion

  • Yeh, This is my favourite psb's song but i can't get round it not being a chart top ten...escapes me...

  • One of their best ones.

  • They are hot!

  • it's funny - but listening to neils' renditions of the songs Chris and Neil wrote for dusty and liza - I really prefer Neil's voice. His voice conveys a lot of emotion and expression. I'm speaking as a singer.

  • Love comes quickly however was considered a big flop by them crawling to a disappointing number 19 in the chart

  • yep i think this is one of there best.love that deep thumbing sinth.

  • The 12 inch version of this early pet shop boys song is in my opinion is their best piece of music they have done. West end girls a close second.

  • Well, I agree with you that this is their best song, but I dont like West end girls like I do with Suburbia...

I mean, Love comes quicky and Suburbia, amazing songs.

    Later PSB do crap music

  • yep top of the pops i had this a long long time ago on video, my freind and i would record everyting we could...i even hat psb on soul train lol:)

    D

  • This is TOTPS

  • looks like top of the pops with the number flashing up before and after the song.
