  • Put a UV light next to your antenna and you will be able to zap mozzies and flies :)

  • Don't guess with airflow. You can find pressure specs which will specify airpressure across the base of the tube, easily measured with either a commercial or homemade water manometer (inches of water) Many similar tubes (3-500z) in modern amplifiers such as the Heath SB 220/ 221 are not adequately cooled, and have suffered envelope and pin "sesolder" problems due to poor tube contacts and inadequate base cooling

  • I used the transmitter for 2 to 3 years before I even improved the cooling and it wasn't a problem. This transmitter amp is in Class C and running well below its maximum capability. The cooling at the tube base I have is more the adequate.

  • Superb!! I bet the Audio is superb!!!
