people that watch people use elevators are super lame. It would be one thing if these videos were on how traction elevators were made but these are just completely lame.
Probably. In the Peabody Hotel Orlando location, it asks for a VALID keycard before accepting calls to 25,26 and 27 from the car. I got up there without a card by using the stairs.
I think you may have issues

the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto, Ontario, Canada's e;evator goes way faster! it went to 7 by the time it took that one to get to 20.
tynnataynna 3 years ago
I agree!
SallyAcornFan777 3 years ago
But the Westin Peachtree Plaza downtown has even faster elevators (6 m/s).
musicfreakcc 3 years ago
Do they have a different finish on the inside of each elevator because the other video you made had the same elevator but with a different finish.
tennisfreak2495 3 years ago
Huh, never noticed that. I'll take a look the next time I go
musicfreakcc 3 years ago
Actually, Were they montgomery? Right Now, My mom, dad, and I are just in shock that it's now a Westin!
dea41396 3 years ago
No - they're Schindler. I can tell that those indicators are a bit aged.
musicfreakcc 3 years ago
There is no 2-6 floors.
aceee06 3 years ago

yuumyyum101010 3 years ago
It's just the normal chime, but higher, and quieter.

Schindlers are nice, except for the fact that the door close button never works on them.
starbucks95905 3 years ago

I know that ML is the "Motor Lobby," but does that refer to the mechanical room, or is it the name of a high end floor?
CaptainElevator42189 4 years ago
Nope, that's where valet is.
musicfreakcc 4 years ago
I get motor. But they should label it P or B because it's more universal.
Baytrail 3 years ago
Yes but "Motor Lobby" sounds more fancy.
musicfreakcc 3 years ago
In one hotel ML meant "main level."
Baytrail 3 years ago
Are there more floors?
Baytrail 4 years ago
21 and 22 are restricted - they're the Starwood Preferred floors.
musicfreakcc 4 years ago
Do you need a hotel key to have access to the top floors?
elevatorfan762 4 years ago
Probably. In the Peabody Hotel Orlando location, it asks for a VALID keycard before accepting calls to 25,26 and 27 from the car. I got up there without a card by using the stairs.
Baytrail 3 years ago
Could you film it?
musicfreakcc 3 years ago
If I go back to Florida I will.
Baytrail 3 years ago
Likely.
Baytrail 3 years ago
Probably the fixture has EPCO Vip Series.
6Q73RA 4 years ago
I like how they have icons on the buttons for main floors.
musicfreakcc 4 years ago
And 250 feet/minute is a rare speed, but are common in some of the UT Austin elevators I recorded.
CaptainElevator42189 4 years ago
It should have been 500 FPM, oops!
musicfreakcc 4 years ago
Nice buttons
