  • Why is he talking to nine year olds about forces and politics? Putting propaganda in their brains already....

  • I laughed my ass of at that video of Christie going on night patrol with Booker. Christie looked like he would rather have been anywhere but there. Granted, he probably does think photo ops like that are a waste of his time. But, the fact that Booker is a democrat, and widely expected to be a future opponent for Christie in some capacity probably did not improve his mood.

  • Governor Christie should have a personal meeting with Edward Lawson, so he can get a citizen activist's view of the problems of Newark NJ, and its openly racist gang task force police division. What he sees may horrify him, but it will lead to him being aware of the problem, and thus aware of its solution.

  • yo, moron, do you understand economics? This state is BROKE, what is it about this you don't undrestand. Your issue is not with Christie, its with all the roaring socialists who came before him who kept spending money they did not have. Christie is just the natural end to a dysfunctional process. He is cutting taxes and cutting spending. What's wrong with that?

  • Next President of the United States of America...thank God!! Hes Reagan and Capone combined..kind of guy we need to bust-heads around here! Hes the Anti-Obama! love him!

  • Christie had me at "Hello" and I was all for him... then he went and repealed taxes on the haves and have-mores and increased the burden on the poor and middle class. So he's just another political thug. Hopefully this bully won't do too much damage before he is voted out of office.

  • @Hammerlix In other words, he is trying to create jobs and STOP the money from fleeting the state.

Heaven forbid he does things that are PROVEN to work.

  • @ToddAldrich Yeah, LOL!!! Just like the Bush/Cheney Tax Cuts for the rich created so many jobs the numbers actually went backwards. The truth is the wealthy ARE creating jobs... only the jobs they are creating are in China and India where the wealthy can maximize profits.

  • @Hammerlix The tax cuts worked wonders - the liberal policies he passed and the conservative polices that the liberals blocked are what caused the problems.

Namely the energy policy that the liberals blocked, and the liberal policies on housing that Bush and the Democrats worked together on.

  • I've often wondered why liberal or democratic 'strongholds' often find their locales being geographically those urban or minority areas decimated by socialist and collectivist policy-making and oddly (lol) those areas defined as being populated by the super-rich capitalists -- industrialists, bankers and the like.

  • @quinton01 It is because those liberals create dependency and the people in those areas. They are trapped, & cannot see any alternative except the continuation of the very programs that, although they provide a subsistence level life, they also are the source of the problem that keeps them in poverty. Liberals are like drug dealers. They hand out "free" samples and "hook' people on those programs - and just like the junkie who thinks his dealer is his friend, the victims of liberalism do too.

  • I like this guy

  • WHAT! I cannot believe how nice and well equipped this school was!

  • Thanks to this asshole there are 30 teachers in my school are being fired...have you ever seen a teacher crying in the middle of class because she is losing a job that takes care of her kids? No? well it's sad really sad

  • New Jersey is a hell hole police-state that takes land from people every day in order to build more casinos, has cops which pull you over for silly laws like not wearing a seatbelt, a place were every young person I know is looking for a job, Christie won't change this. Right--Left is not the answer, you must look UP. I'll be moving to New Hampshire soon... any freedom loving (libertarian minded) person like me should follow the same path.

  • I believe regardless of the rhetoric at least the Status Quo will understand that Governor Christie means Business for New Jersey. Keep getting rid of the bad guys; so normal everyday, hardworking people can live in NJ. The union IS garbage and school administers need to be placed back in the classroom, THEN you will see changes, immediately. Most of our principals never taught until they were tenured, and are clueless. How do you manage by objective if you don't understand how to do it too?

  • Chris Christie will be the best thing to happen in NJ since Taylor Ham.

He won't fool around with your money. Hopefully, he will be able to get the freeloader's off the dole and into the work force. GOD Bless CC and NJ.

  • I hope your are right. I will try and remember that Taylor ham is just another name for Pork Roll. I think we have had enough of that in Trenton.

  • Congrats Mr. Christie, and I know you're going to make a great governor for our (soon to be former) sorry state, and get it back on it's feet! Thank God the idiot voters in New Jersey finally got smart, and voted you in, and hopefully that trend will continue for many more years to come! Goodbye to that lowlife scumbag; Jon Corzine, the Dirty Democrat party (AKA the Do Not Vote For party), and I can't wait until Obama Bin Laden endures the same fate in 2012! Do NOT EVER VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS!!!!!

  • Think to yourself, if abortion did not exist would I still vote Republican??

All politicians are selfish in nature but it seems that Dem. Politicians vote yes on matters that We the People would too. Republicans vote to make the rich richer on behalf of big industries. Big Oil, Monopoly Insurance Co.'s

  • Do you understand that as of today the Democrats are more in industries backpocket (in terms of contributing dollars) than the Republicans are? They are more the same than they are different GameICY.

I am not Republican Because of abortion, but I could never, ever even think of voting Democrat. The party has simply shifted too far left. More left than the Republicans are right IMAO.

  • More and more I find myself siding with Jesse Ventura: Republican or Democrat, it makes no difference they play the game in the face of the public while toasting champagne behind closed doors. Meanwhile they conspire to slowly chip away at the Constitution while striving towards a 2 class economy like China. Behind all the smoke and mirrors sits the wizard,s of the world also known as the Rothchild's and Rocafeller's. I am disappointed in our leader loss of global power. (and GM)

  • what his slogan

  • I'm as anti-republican as they come, but I'll give this guy a chance. However, what I see so far is photo-ops with minorities from a guy who's party essentially despises them, and faux-moderation. I hope he isn't as partisan as the rest of his sorry, shithole party.

  • Are you kidding me? Are you going to generalize the republicans that they despise minorities?

Isn't it ironic that a black man runs the Republican party?

Liberals get more stupid per day.

  • LOL!! Are you referring to Michael Steele?? Jesus you people are so fucking naive.

  • Hmmmm, you just claimed republicans despise minorities and you are calling me naive?

  • Yes, motherfucker. Which party held hate rallies in last years elections filled with people holding monkey dolls representing Barack Obama as well as showing blatant hatred for arabs and muslims?

  • Which party last year supported Obama SOLEY for his skin and not his policies?

  • Regarding your state fiscal scoreboard:

1.) California has a Republican governor.

2.) New Jersey has problems because it had a terrible governor, not because he was a Democrat.

3.) Texas has the worst healthcare system in the country, which puts a bit of a hamper on their great fiscal status.

  • 1) California has a democratic majority in their assembly.

    2) So, let me get this straight, if the Governor were a Republican, I bet you would be like "HAHA, this is PROOF the Republican party fails!"

    3) Well, that is a problem that needs reform in Texas.

Excuse me? Didn't you just say "Which party last year held rallies against arabs/minorities?"

You just generalized the Rep party for hosting rallies against race, way to be a hypocrite.

  • Oh forgive me, I guess I should've clarified that I was talking about the presidential election. The republican presidential ticket held hate rallies last year so disgusting even John Lewis, a former civil rights activists as well as someone John McCain is good friends with, called them just that. Happy? And I love how you conveniently ignored my point on Republicans in general having a Bible-laden social platform as a per tradition.

  • 1.) Yes, but the ultimate say in laws comes from the Governor.

2.) No, I may rant and rave about Republicans, but thats because I call it like I see it. I don't resort to that sort of nonsense. I believe Charlie Crist has done a good job in Florida, I respect Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins in Maine. Hell, I said in my first post here that I'm willing to give Christie a chance. Don't put words in my mouth.

  • And to say an entire party voted for Obama solely for his skin color is just entirely baseless, absurd and frankly stupid. The only blue demographic that had a significant amount of voters voting based on skin color was African Americans, and they vote almost unanimously Democrat anyway. Plus, to say that a majority of people voted for Obama for his skin color when you have the direct comparison of him to Sarah fucking Palin in front of your face, is just retarded.

  • And if people did vote based on skin color, why weren't Alan Keyes or Jesse Jackson elected years ago when they ran?

  • @ blankportraits The reason why Jessie wasnt elected was he was totally unqualified to be there ! He is not even qualified to be dog catcher ! I may have put him in as a commode cleaner, had I been there, but thats the top spot for him.

  • And to say an entire party held rallies against Arabs and blacks is just entirely, baseless, absurd, and frankly stupid.

  • I suppose you think its all a simple coincidence that red states in this country tend to be almost unanimously caucasion and under-educated, while blue states tend to be melting pots of a variety of cultures. Perhaps in your mind, the traditional Republican platform of calling for a Christian USA is NOT directly implying intolerance of non-judeo-christian religion followers who happen to be of "other" ethnic backgrounds.

  • Many minorities are democrats.

    Why?

Because it is a simple fact the Democrats stand for more government, and lets face it, many minorities believe the government should provide more. They started supporting the Dems more in the 30's when FDR's New Deal program provided a lot for them.

And why is it that Democrat controlled states are doing very poor-financially speaking (California, New Jersey, etc) while the red states are outperforming them (Texas, Florida).

  • First off, what exactly is wrong with wanting the government to provide basic aid to disadvantaged families who are sinking into abject poverty? Is it not the priority of the government of the richest country in the world to give basic aid to people? What should they ask for? Less help?

  • Disadvantaged families, yes, the government should help out.

However, lazy bums, definitely not. America is a place where you create your own wealth, not redistributed to you.

  • This is just more standard, boilerplate, right-wing baseless, generalized, un-nuanced class condescension.

  • Secondly, minorities aren't exactly the only ones that receive government aid. You'll notice that a sizable amount of the GOP electorate consists of older people, most of which have the evil, big-government Medicare. So satisfied are they with government health care, they violently protest to keep "government hands" off it. I'll leave you to figure out the idiocy in this.

  • BTW, I don't literally mean ALL republicans. But on the overall scale, the assessment is beyond obvious.

  • The republican and democratic parties are two completely corrupt wings of the same bird.

  • "All men having power ought to be distrusted" - James Madison ="It is the first responsibility of every citizen to question authority." - Benjamin Franklin="We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts." - Abraham Lincoln=Bush didn't fail us, Obama isn't failing us, Corzine didn't fail is, Christie wont fail us, we are failing ourselves. We dont need to look to the government for help or guidance, we are supposed to be strong and independent. WE OWN THIS COUNTRY!!!

  • it just tells you how bad obama is doing for republican to win a liberal state like nj wow.

  • I'll bet the NJEA just LOVES this charter school and the new governor.

  • lol he talks about working with dems and in the sames sentence makes them seem like the evil empire...

    wow.

  • uh oh another republican in control of NJ

    god help us

  • As opposed to the ENTIRE democrat-controlled legislature and Democrat Governor that led us for several success, business-thriving years, right?

  • The Obama issue aside, this just shows how awesome of a governor Christie's gonna be. The public school system is a big source of waste and corruption and he goes to democratic stronghold NEWARK and begins to work towards a solution. Awesome.

  • I still can't believe that fat bastard won the election.

  • This story is beautiful. Good luck, Governor-elect Christie. I'm proud to say I voted for you.

  • This and Virginia are the first in a series of FUCK YOU's to Obama and the democratic party. THANK YOU FOR WAKING UP AMERICA!!

  • @todmarbri FUCK YOU. NJ and VA were local elections and concentrated on local issues. Exit polling show that over 60% of voters didnt consider Obama when they voted. The only 2 national special elections both went to democrats in NY 23 the first democrat since the CIVIL WAR was elected. You teabagger dont get that the majority of Americans think you're batshit.I cant wait until the 2010 elections when dems pick up more seats and you fucking teabaggers get the shot to face you deserve.

  • fuck you john boehner next speaker of the house good bye nancy the bitch witch pelosi hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @todmarbri

I hope you're right that America is waking up.One can hope. I'm glad no one cared that Obama visited five times for Corzine.

    lol @Obama!

  • @todmarbri >AMEN!

  • We need someone like Christie in IL.

  • props to Christie for doing this...i am no republican for sure, but i support him for doing this.

  • Wow, this is the first video I've seen tonight without the school children singing praise to the Messiah Obama.
