But I agree that at the end of it all we as a people AND AS INDIVIDUALS need to take responsibility for OUR own actions and stop using everything done in our history's past as a scapegoat.True,our history DOES have a bearing on where we are today,but WE can stop the cycles in our own individual lives

Blacks throughout all of the Diaspora have a similar base story, But true we shouldn't use it as a scapegoat. But on the other hand we must also understand the outside influences to our universal condition. There is some deep psychological warfare going on and unfortunately the masses don't know about it. 

Television, corporate rap, and the system are huge influences on out development and without acknowledging them this would be a detriment.
