Anybody notice how she's positioned ahead of him? By design? Oh well basically bw will not be picked, black men are fed up. It's pretty much fuck yall until yall check yourselves as a whole.
brothas dont waste your time with them..go get a Latina black women from brazil its millions of fine sistas in that country FUCK AMERICAN BLK WOMEN!!!!!! lete them have those homo-thugs in jail
I think there's a combination of problems. There are fewer Black Men getting degrees than Black Women. There are many Black Women who limit their options by not looking at Men from other cultures. Still Black Women are still the last ethnicity in the United States to be chosen by males of any ethnicity except Black Men. There is a stereotype that Black women are "Challenging" and "Demanding" which is simply wrong in many cases. We get a bad rap
@mjshegog most women are challenging and demanding. race has nothing to do with it and i'm sure non-black women do not appreciate being thought of as doormats.
@bodaciousbetsy They may not like it, but I'm sure they like the fact that they get dates. I can't count how many dateless Black American women in graduate studies. Yes I know there's dateless people everywhere, but statistics are just that we are less likely to be married or ever married by age 30 than our counterparts of any ethnicities.
I do think it's a drought of GOOD MEN! Come by and support me sometime, I'm going to lose 300 lbs so please encourage me, I'm giong to do this here on youtube so that I can show People that you don't have to have surgery!!:)
A lot of BS here the majority of black women, educated or not educated, don't like good black men until they have been used up by thugs/bums and have two/three baby daddies. At that point they are looking for a good brother to raise and support some other men's kids.
Black women ARE open to dating other races, they try to convince us otherwise, but the reality is they simply find it difficult to do so
Miseducation amongst black people is so bad nobody even bothers to look at the numbers anymore they just talk...If you check the number of black women and black men with bachelors degrees its 9% and 8% respectfully which is almost identical, in-matter-of fact in other races the disparity is actually greater, PLZ DO RESEARCH instead of senseless debating!
It is not in their DNA, they cannot identify with the struggles of black people they are not black, but yes they can be very objective if they try. It's like a mother. A mother is genetically programmed to love her children above her own self. She'd even risk her life to save her children if she had to, but she might think twice about giving up her life for a really good friend. My point is sympathy and empathy are very different. Another race can c ur pain, but cannot truly understand it.
No another race can never truly understand what it is like. A person of another race can be sympathetic but never empathetic. Forgive me I will bring up a topic that is sensitive to some ppl. It is like entering into a marriage with kids from another relationship. You will try your best to think of them as your own, and put on that front, but inside you know the difference. A person of another race CAN be objective but never can place the same amount of importance on the issue.
you all are talking nonsense i am sure when you walk out of your front door there are plenty of black guys problem is a lot of women think they are better than most black men because of the time they sat in a chair trying to remember everything that some guy tells them which they call so called education , which has nothing to do with character which relationships are based on
Black women are habitually single for these main reasons
They are too independent, They believe they MUST challenge their men Most of them have babies by duds ,They condescend to blue collar labor. They aspire to men with money as their chief desire veiled as a standard They fear marriage because marriage involves structure & control & they fear men controlling them. Most don't even believe marriage is necessary Most want to be in control of their man & MEN are having NONE of that
This whole "gender war" thing is purely women's fault's & they know it. They just like to play dumb & throw rocks then hide their hands-kinda thing. Women secretly get off to mischief,mayhem,and drama. They also like to see men in pain & distress. It fulfills certain curiosities they may have and re-enforces feelings that he may have for her and she makes him prove/reveal what they are. This is why women seem to "switch up" on you after you(a man) commits to her.
No disrespect to you Quan but when is she gonna say this is my fiance'? Every video she's excited to say this is my boyfriend Quanand then you do the half ass wave- just curious
@44joints just goes to show you, you can be a super educated black woman with looks to boot. and still just be the girlfriend for years lol. if he was white they would be engaged or they would be marrie by now, real talk!
@shyvixx1 ....exactly!!!! Hopefully she wont spend half of her life trying to become what he is looking for. She's beautiful and intelligent. He just seems too content with the boyfriend girlfriend thing. Now if that's all she's looking for also then cool...... but I think she's dreaming of the wedding gown.
drought? this is so demeaning to black men everywhere. are these women that are experiencing the drought consider themselves superior to the majority of the black male population? Are these women even attractive (or are they overweight and thus unappealing to most)? Are they already baby mommas (and thus unwanted by a lot of men that dont want a ready made family)?
I often times hear black women saying how they have the hope to meet that perfect black man & he should have this & he should have that & I think, hmm.. thats fantasy; not reality& if these women choose to sit around& dream about something that most likely isnt going to happen, then I think its silly. Our black men certainly arent letting anything stop them from pursuing relationships outside the race. Why should black women?I know its natural to want someone of your own race, but geez
I mean, its logical; if black women outnumber black men, then logically, not every black woman is going to be able to get a black man. I just dont understand why black women feel the need to sit around and wait for this perfect black man to show up and sweep her off her feet. This isnt going to happen. The black men of today are exploring their options so I dont understand why black women arent doing the same. I cant grasp this. Why not give someone of another race a chance? You never know...
I don think that there is a drought for black women out there. I mean, we need to first understand that not everyone is looking to get married. There are some women out there who arent looking to be married & have the whole traditional lifestyle that most say we should aspire to have. I guess I can only speak for myself; if black women open their options to being with someone outside of their race... even better. It simple to me; I just dont understand what people mean by there being a drought.
Maybe it's just me but either a black woman would choose to be single or not.
I dated a white man and it is NOT true in my opinion as far as not relating to me if I came to him about racial problems. Maybe he was 1 of a kind. I don't think ppl need to wake up and say I'm a black woman & will date a specific race.Black women can complain but continue doing the same if they want. shruggs my own thoughts. I think this was a great video nonetheless! :-)
i cant stand sum a yall well edu-ma-cated ... folk... yall are just so out of touch... so politically correct... cos u are being trained how to think...
it's obvious things will get a whole lot worse! the truth is many of us will not go below our standards. we as a people need to continue to talk and express who we are! i see a lot of good looking women that pass me by all the time, many of them are turn-offs though! i don't like purple, orange, blonde hair, tatoos, hoochie gear, women that broadcast their themselves or women that hate on other females! if a person have wants they have to provide themself basically!
there is a great wall of china between the Cocoaian male and female! that wall is made up of many bricks (differences) that keep us from eachother! i thinl if we were segregated we probably be better off today, because we would have to depend on eachother! many of us have been hurt by previous relationships which causes most of us to be damaged goods! Now that many men are losing their jobs, it's a lot harder for them to find someone! many women will not date a man without a job period!(cont.)
@Machelle3200 and black men are looking for some video model looking chick....perfect face, perfect body.extra small waist line....big booty....I think most black men are just over superficial.....everyone that has a little extra weight isn't a lazy over eater....there are many reasons why some people have fallen outside their ideal weight...people just don't even bother to get to no anyone anymore..it's all about the fantasies they see on the videos...
@Machelle3200 Love isn't for everyone...if you don't look a certain way or have a certain job or a certain amount of money in your bank account, you might as well stock up on the cats because most likely you aint gonna find anyone....that's life......
If more black women looked and acted like you they would not be single. you are in shape and act like a lady from what i can see. and you got a man that is not a thug.
@crystalmethluv quan, sincerely hope ur certian, about this 1. crucial the alignment of intuition, when partnerin', especially blax 1'z [touchy] boy how we reminise those campus dayz [wierd] can't agree on topic, yet willfully shellin' advice [deceptive] u2 chemistry rivals couplez who marry solely 4 immagration stats [convinent] date 4 purposes of discrimination, whilst objectifyin' brovaz job discrimin ization [iniquity] note qaunz': anitial eye pop, his promptin', candor- dui iz all [duped]
There is no drought or shortage of black men. The real problem is that black women have been sold a fantasy. Their minds are so brainwashed by the prototypical black man they see in videos and mainstream media that they overlook men who don't fit that description. Black women are also the pickiest women of any race. They will reject you for the most superficial reasons. Black women are really looking for a needle in a haystack. And when they can't find it they cry there is a shortage.
@calstate Its hard for me to find a black woman who will exercise on the regular. If a black man wants a "fit" black woman...his dating pool is slim. I dont like big guts and jello arms. Once they get past 25 years old....its a struggle. Some black guys just dont care...they will date anything. I be seeing some black guys with these ol' fat white women too. The guys look unhappy and desperate.
Bw need to quit listening to the polls walk down the street and see who bm are really with bm are with bw more than anything else...the media has torn bm and bw apart for the longest but ppl can't seem to realize that...and bw need to open up there minds and date a man with less money than her even if they ar a gangster because money won't stop a man for beating ur ass or cheating on u or commiting...and money ain't nothing but power and ppl who have it tend to abuse it.
Most BW dont want a good BM. Even the educated sisters are lookin for the guy w/ "swag"(euphemism for thug no matter how they try to twist it). Sad, but true. They date the grimiest dudes & then want to claim we all aren't worth shit. I do agree that the pool is tiny, but do you ever think that if BW showed society that they are looking for brothers that have got their heads on right that more BM would strive to be better?
btw 60% of Black men are single. Where's my special?
excellent advice! i've always liked all sorts of people and never felt the need to match (friends or boyfriends). My husband is european and i'm still breathing & have all of my limbs. amazing, huh?! j/k
u got ur self a great black man, i agree w/ him all the way. i cud not find anyone in my dating pool and found a great spanish man who i love and have been w/ 4 over 4 yrs
@misstiffy25 just be real about it...smdh u pass plenty of bm everyday and don't give them a chance when is the last time before your relationship did u approach a bm...and how many bm have u been with since u can't find anyone out of the millions of bm in the world...u like spanish men and that's it don't try to put it on there being a lack of brothas it's just a lack of brothas that u want.
I agree with you. As a black educated young woman, I have learned that being open minded is so important for me to be with someone who will make me happy and appreciate me for who I am. I had the reverse experience of dating outside my race before dating in my race. I love black men but if the man God has made for me isn't black, then that's what it'll be. Thank you for your honesty, views, and words. God Bless!
I'm very picky about whom I am attracted to romantically. Its rare I am attracted romantically to a black man. In the end (thus far), I'm dating a white man. The pool for black women is simply who is attracted to black women? Or better yet, who is attracted to you. That is your pool. And I think that is the way this needs to be looked at. We're not animals that you are finding statistics for to make us reproduce... we're all very individualistic.
I think the problems you are guys are talking about is not because of the numbers. I think that the problem is more related in community and time frame. Often people look for mates who meet a certain cultural need within a certain time frame. For example, in some cultures people start looking into potential mates between the ages of 13 to 17. In some cultures people seek out mates who come from particular family backgrounds (nationality, language, etc.). This is all context.
So, we are still beating that dead horse...with your boyfriend spitting the same script black women usually pitch with BW doing so great and BM are just dead, on drugs or in jail.
In the black community who are the greatest welfare recipients? Check the Bureau of Labor statistics, BM out-earn BW in EVERY wage category and as the incomes go higher, the gap gets GREATER.
The Brothas are telling you what they don't like, but most of you refuse to listen.
I agree completely with the points Kwan and you brought up. The world is too big for ppl to close their mind off to being with different races, as most Black woman tend to do. And its not only about their current stature in life, its more about their mindset and maturity level that attracts me as well as most women.
Why is the focus always on there not being any quality black men? To be fair, many black men feel there are few quality women. They have a list of grievances too!
A woman could go to college & graduate earning maybe $50 - $70k a year. A man could work for Verizon or UPS & earn the same amount. They're pretty much within the same socio-economic class, but I've heard women call that "dating down!"
I, personally, find this entire issue & "gender war" between black men/women to be very sad. The same story has been told & unchallenged for the past 20 years. For every "thug dude" on the street is a female counterpart on Maury Povich!
I'm not against inter-racial dating, but I don't think that will be the answer for most black women. The truth? BM & BW pass each other up everyday over superficial reasons & general distrust.
@kimmaytube I DON'T think Crystal or Kwan was suggesting that interracial dating IS the answer for BW. I think what they were trying to say, especially Crystal, is, that BW should open themselves up to dating other men besides black men. Cause she was saying that it may or can feel like a "drought" if BW are only considering BM to date or marry.
1) WM/BW are the rarest interracial pair is because they generally aren't attracted to one another. Are there exceptions? Absolutely. But most BW are going to be disappointed if they want long term/ marriage. I did not say all. I said most. There are many social & cultural reasons (family pressures incl) why the vast majority of American WM who date interracially choose asian (or other) women.
@kimmaytube: "they generally aren't attracted to one another," and this is based on? Are you looking at "trends?"Social behaviors/how things appear? Because this is certainly inadequate to make such a generalization. You can't make that generalization. Period. I haven't done research on WM,AW, BW, dating, marriage,etc. so, I can't say "a lack of general attraction "IS" the reason why BW WM aren't getting together at high rates( whatever bull crap terminology)"
@kimmaytube: Part 2: What do YOU mean by attraction? Are you talking about physical/social/economic/religious/spiritual/all,etc. What? I think there are a host of factors that we should analyze before drawing ANY KIND of conclusion! Factors like: Chance, Opportunity, Region. For example, In Seattle, Washington and Southern California, there might be "high" "higher rates" of WM/AW dating, marrying and some of this may be due to
@kimmaytube: Part 3 Con't, the fact that there is a considerable amount of Asians living in Seattle and SoCal. Is this true in Illinois, Texas, Washington,etc? I don't know, probably not. Where we live and what's available to us can impact who we date/marry, why we date/marry. For example, If there isn't a lot of AW in one particular area but, there are "solid" amounts of WM and BW, then there's a greater potential for a higher number of WM/BW couples, RELATIVE TO WM/AW couples.
2) I agree that BW should be open to dating men of other races, but with an open AND rational mind. She must be honest with herself. Are *quality* men of other races asking her out already? Is she turning them away? If so, then that is a viable option. But if they aren't? What will she do differently to attract them? Men are generally the pursuers, but when they are pursued by women, she must fit his criteria or risk being rejected. Women aren't used to being rejected.
@kimmaytube: Part 4, I think ANY MAN OR WOMAN should be honest with themselves about their dating opportunities,etc And it's not always about "are other races of men asking her out." This is too simplistic, it's old fashioned and traditional. Traditional dating STILL has relavance, I acknowledge that. But, dating has EVOVLED! People aren't always meeting at churches, potlucks or on the street and men arean't the only ones taking initiative and doing the asking. Just sayin'.
@kimmaytube: Part 5, Con't, This is the problem with talking about dating, relationships. So much of how we think, what we say is based on our experiences and we really have a difficult time, stepping outside or going beyond our experiences. So much of this is conjecture and heresay. That's all it is. This is what these little debates are centered on.
@kimmaytube Also, I think a lot of our perception of what is out there, what's not, what's lacking, what's in abundance,etc has to do with the part of the country/region that we live in or come from. For example, in my view, in terms of BM, Chicago doesn't have much to offer. This is how I feel. However, I feel like, if I go to Maryland or Atlanta, for example, there's more BM in these regions who have something to offer or more BM who meet my standards, if it was my goal to look for a BM.
3) Why do you think you'll have luck in Atlanta? They have the highest ratio of single women! Maryland is a better choice because it is more balanced. We have government workers, military men, more college grads, etc. But men everywhere are typically the same. If a woman finds that she does not like the men she attracts, she must be honest with herself why, The Law of Attraction is real. Only when *I* personally asked myself, was I able to find my answer.
@kimmaytube: Part 6, Con't: I don't mean to suggest that it'll be rosey if I go to ATL or Maryland. I'm not that naive! I just think there might be more opportunity and a greater chance of me being able to meet MORE BM (if it was my goal to only date BM)whose socioeconomic status matches mine, who is more educated, have good solid jobs/careers,etc RELATIVE TO a places like Chicago or Detroit or Gary,etc.
Your responses focus a lot on interracial dating, which to be honest is not of great interest to me. Never was. Since I can't spend time going back & forth with you all I can say is this--you will see for yourself. I'm not pulling these ideas out of thin air. It's based on my exposure to various racial & socio-economic groups in college & corporate life. You are arguing "possible" exceptions. I am simply calling attention to actual, (including measurable) social trends.
@kimmaytube: Part 9 Con't: "You're arguing possible exceptions." You're exactly right, they ARE possible AND they ARE REAL! Chance, opportunity, and region (to name a few) often times play a role in interracial dating/marriage and dating/marriage IN GENERAL. This isn't rocket science, I don't need to do a study to say this. This is simple, sensible, reasoned thinking.
@kimmaytube: Part 10, Con't: You, on the other hand will need to do research in order to make the generalization that BW/WM "are generally not attracted to each other." YOUR argument IS "POSSIBLE" but, it's NOT empirical! If you had said something like, in my view, or in my opinion, that would've been different because I can't debate you about your experiences. Period.
@kimmaytube: Part 11, Con't: Last one-However, I can debate you when you make a generalization and state it as a fact or when you state your opinion (which is what it really is) as a fact. You're entitled to your own opinions but, you're NOT entitled to your own facts! Sorry.
I didn't make any generalizations. The burden of proof is on you. I've said nothing that isn't true in the general public. Prove me wrong. You seem to have your hopes up, providing many excuses for why white men aren't actively pursuing BW instead of facing the reality. Overall, the majority aren't interested. Ask them.
You seem fixated on the topic of interracial dating even though I tried to steer the conversation to how black women can better seek viable black men.
@kimmaytube: Now it's annoyingly repetitive. It's fruitless to continue this debate. No value in it. Let me just say this and let that be all. I think you're cool and I like some of your videos, I'm actually subscribed to you. But, please,don't go to my page to see what I look like, try to find out a little about me, and then "identify" me. I understand the inclination but, you should always try to be careful about "identifying" people.
uh, I didn't have to go to your page to see what you look like, genius. Everytime you reply to a comment your avatar/icon shows your face in my inbox.
Wow. It's gotten weird!
Judging by the way you've handled yourself in this exchange, it is no mystery to me why may be having issues with black men. You don't *listen*, you're loud & the concept of self-introspection (role you play) seems foreign to you. If I had any clue you would be this way, I would've left this alone.
@kimmaytube Exactly...i completely agree...White men aint checking for black women...hell aint nobody really checking for black women in some parts of the country...
@kimmaytube The 'singleness' has ALOT more to do with age. Atlanta is a much, much younger city (population-wise) than Maryland! Unfortunately, your argument on singleness in Atlanta is a perfect example of why statistics aren't dependable. But should, by no means AT ALL, be overlooked! ;-)
@kimmaytube I'm aware of Maryland's Prince George area and that is wonderful to see! So, I understand what you talking about Kim. A lot of the Blks are nicely middle class or higher, married, have beautiful homes,etc. But, I'm just keeping it "100," you know that much of the southside of chicago does NOT look like the prince george area. These are 2 "different types" of blk folks! LOL!
4) You are wrong about Prince George's. Remember, *I* live here. lol. Black folks here are no different than black folks anywhere else. They have the advantage of stable employment and that's about it. Culturally, there is very little difference. Same messed up priorities & lack of action to take responsibility to improve things (schools, infrastructure, etc.)
There IS a higher % of married black couples, which relates back to stable employment (i.e. government jobs)
@kimmaytube: Part 7 Con't: Well, in my opinion, there ARE DIFFERENT KINDS OF BLK FOLKS. I'm not saying that blks folks in Maryland don't share any problems that some poor Blks have but, I am referring to socioeconomic status, how one carries themself and values. Blks, like any other group ARE NOT a monolithic group. There are ingroup differences and variations.
5) Last. There ARE black men everywhere. I dislike the terms "good black this or that" because ultimately compatibility is all that matters. This tired narrative of "no good black men left" needs retiring. BM complain about the lack of marriagable black women! A woman who will cook, nurture the family, etc. A college degree doesn't make a woman wife material or desirable. Her values, character, this is what they look for. Ask men, don't tell them what they should want. Peace.
@kimmaytube: Part 8, Con't: I don't mind the terms good/bad IN THIS CONTEXT, cause these terms can refer to compatibility traits that a person can deem "good/bad" FOR THEM. So, in this way, they are useful.
No offense, but it doesn't seem like you actually read what I write. Your responses just seem to go all over the place. Caps are unnecessary & can be interpreted as yelling, even if that is not your intent. I'm just letting you know this because it may discourage someone (out of fatigue) from debating with you. Overall, I think I understand where you're coming from, but the purpose of my statements were to lead to deeper understanding beyond cliches. Not sure if you caught it.
@kimmaytube: "Your "responses" just seem to go all over the place." It probably feels this way because I've made several comments and I've responded to all of your comments, remarks that I didn't agree with or took issue with. However, I've maintained the same general argument, w/ smaller debates that I probably should not have engaged.
hey, I don't know what's going on. But I know I was not about to have some in depth, cultural, brain dissection of what goes on inside a white man's head. lol. I am a black woman conversing with another black woman. Since you showed an interest in black men, I focused my reponses on that. Yes, from my own personal experiences, observations and more importantly, what black men have actually said & continue to say on a regular basis. They have a lot of valid points imho.
@kimmaytube: I didn't know caps were bothersome to you. I've never had a problem with this and it never bothers me when people use caps. I generally don't read much into it. The purpose of the caps was to drive home a point. Anyway, I digress. "Lead to deeper understanding," seriously? No offense but, your remarks don't, ya know what, forget it, it's not worth it.
@kimmaytube:You've commented and asserted your opinions just like everyone else on here and your opinions aren't new. My opinions aren't new. Sorry to be rude but, that's how I view your remarks. I certainly didn't "catch" your attempt to "lead to deeper understanding." But, it's cool. These are really just opinions on youtube, it's fun to debate people and it's fun and sometimes intense, when talking about relationships, dating, marriage,etc.
@kimmaytube word...these old bougie girls think they DESERVE a husband because they're educated..A lot of the time these women are not wife material at all
@kimmaytube w/ all do respect u cannot use ur own anecdotal experiences to understand/explain an issue. If u r goin to approach an issue like this probability factors must b addressed. Fact at this moment there r more BW than BM in U.S & most of NA. Fact of the bm in the US a significant & staggering amount are in prison or have prison records, another amount of this group have not finished high school. These FACTS r what contribute 2 bw’s difficulty finding bm.
@misstiffy25 There are 24 million black men in this country. 800,000 are in prison, that is only 2.5% of BM. People need to get the real facts about the amount of BM in prison. And, women from other races marry black men. BM are well wanted by a lot women of other races-where most men from other races do not pursue BW. And this thing about there being more BW than BM-this goes for other races of women as well. Russian women have this same issue, but a lot of men want them. They even pay for one
@kimmaytube also i find ur comment about passin ppl to b a generalization, you cannot make that claim. w/ that said attraction( attraction is subjective, i believe there is sum1 4 every1) does play a role, no one should limit their standards if they are realistic. why b w/ a man or woman n be unhappy than happy alone?
I've tried to stress the importance of class divisions before, on my channel. There are some die-hard people who will never see the tsunami. Racism, while alive and well, has nothing on Classism! Truth be told, it seems like a lot of working class, white people are just starting to realize this as well. They should listen, I mean, really *listen* to Shirley Sherrod. :-)
@kimmaytube OMG, SO TRUE! LOL... whether BW want to admit it or not, men, ALL men, don't have to go to college to earn the same amount or MORE than we do!
How are sistas having a drought when they have their pick of any man at any time and place?? Its their own fault that some sistas choose the wrong men while searching for their tupac with a degree. Black women need to date different types of black men. IF the so called dudes with swagg keep doing you dirty then date the brotha thats about his education and has a plan for his life. Its all about dating a variety of people rather then trying to change men that cannot be changed.
Unfortunately, too many sistas don't wake up until they are in their mid-thirty's or later...then they are seeking the clean-cut, stable, educated man. Sometimes to play Captain-Save-A-Ho to her and the children left behind by the previous man (men) with "swag".
That's just the way it is, until their dating paradigm shifts in a major way...if at all.
@Khemistry101 I disagree..most of the clean cut stable guys, want very very very slim women...that's why most of the those types end up with white or latin women....these men are very superficial.
Generally speaking, by the time these clean cut guys are established, they have long since given up on most sistas and spin off in another direction. Nothing wrong with that. One must get in where they fit in. The same applies to women.
@g6686not pick of any man?...what part of the country is this going on ...cause I need to move there asap! cause in the urban environment I live in, the men are all locked up or gay!
@Machelle3200 So what type of brothas do you go for? Because if your looking for the ones with all this swagg and or the so called bad boy thug most sistas swear up and down they can change then your already lost. Most sistas don't date a variety of black men. Like I said in my comment, if the thugs or pretty boys do you wrong then go for the laid back black man thats all about planing out his future and in school. But oh that's too lame for many of you.
I'm upset right now due to personal reasons but trust me it is rough out there (dating).I dont know yall personally but as yall speak I see, black male, black female, they're a couple and they telling me to date outside my race! I have nothing against other races but honestly I want my husband to be black. Some may disagree and say I'm prejudice but I dont care! Is it so wrong of me to go against what people say bout black men and prove that there are good black men out there?! Hell no!
That 70% of single black women,there are so much negative science behind that.Even tho youre consider single,you seem like you in a happy relationship with your "boyfrined".On top of that,The real reason why "70 of black women are single because 60%of black men are single.Its crazy how there alot of black "happy" non married couples out there but its protrayed as the non married black women are going crazy because theyre single or sould i say there not married.
You ever wonder how the media focus on dividing the black race?
Seems like every couple of months they come up with so info to down the black race.
Most black men thats in prison are they for non violent crimes and when they get out theyre still consider as "prisoners"when plays a major role into the false stats being that way.Also,i heard you saying "boyfriend"Both of yall seems like a happy couple but the media added you as "another single black women"...
Cryst you got a man who cares about them other girls. You got yours.

WHY DO THESE WOMEN NEED MEN. THEY'RE SO INDEPENDENT

We get a bad rap
mjshegog 8 months ago 3
@mjshegog most women are challenging and demanding. race has nothing to do with it and i'm sure non-black women do not appreciate being thought of as doormats.

@bodaciousbetsy They may not like it, but I'm sure they like the fact that they get dates. I can't count how many dateless Black American women in graduate studies. Yes I know there's dateless people everywhere, but statistics are just that we are less likely to be married or ever married by age 30 than our counterparts of any ethnicities.

A lot of BS here the majority of black women, educated or not educated, don't like good black men until they have been used up by thugs/bums and have two/three baby daddies. At that point they are looking for a good brother to raise and support some other men's kids.

Black women ARE open to dating other races, they try to convince us otherwise, but the reality is they simply find it difficult to do so
Miseducation amongst black people is so bad nobody even bothers to look at the numbers anymore they just talk...If you check the number of black women and black men with bachelors degrees its 9% and 8% respectfully which is almost identical, in-matter-of fact in other races the disparity is actually greater, PLZ DO RESEARCH instead of senseless debating!
jerryumeh1 1 year ago
It is not in their DNA, they cannot identify with the struggles of black people they are not black, but yes they can be very objective if they try. It's like a mother. A mother is genetically programmed to love her children above her own self. She'd even risk her life to save her children if she had to, but she might think twice about giving up her life for a really good friend. My point is sympathy and empathy are very different. Another race can c ur pain, but cannot truly understand it.
Nashara23 1 year ago
No another race can never truly understand what it is like. A person of another race can be sympathetic but never empathetic. Forgive me I will bring up a topic that is sensitive to some ppl. It is like entering into a marriage with kids from another relationship. You will try your best to think of them as your own, and put on that front, but inside you know the difference. A person of another race CAN be objective but never can place the same amount of importance on the issue.
Nashara23 1 year ago
you all are talking nonsense i am sure when you walk out of your front door there are plenty of black guys problem is a lot of women think they are better than most black men because of the time they sat in a chair trying to remember everything that some guy tells them which they call so called education , which has nothing to do with character which relationships are based on

This is why women seem to "switch up" on you after you(a man) commits to her.

drought? this is so demeaning to black men everywhere. are these women that are experiencing the drought consider themselves superior to the majority of the black male population? Are these women even attractive (or are they overweight and thus unappealing to most)? Are they already baby mommas (and thus unwanted by a lot of men that dont want a ready made family)?
this discussion is so demeaning to black men.

Liliworld627 1 year ago
I mean, its logical; if black women outnumber black men, then logically, not every black woman is going to be able to get a black man. I just dont understand why black women feel the need to sit around and wait for this perfect black man to show up and sweep her off her feet. This isnt going to happen. The black men of today are exploring their options so I dont understand why black women arent doing the same. I cant grasp this. Why not give someone of another race a chance? You never know...
Liliworld627 1 year ago
I don think that there is a drought for black women out there. I mean, we need to first understand that not everyone is looking to get married. There are some women out there who arent looking to be married & have the whole traditional lifestyle that most say we should aspire to have. I guess I can only speak for myself; if black women open their options to being with someone outside of their race... even better. It simple to me; I just dont understand what people mean by there being a drought.
Liliworld627 1 year ago
Maybe it's just me but either a black woman would choose to be single or not.
I dated a white man and it is NOT true in my opinion as far as not relating to me if I came to him about racial problems. Maybe he was 1 of a kind. I don't think ppl need to wake up and say I'm a black woman & will date a specific race.Black women can complain but continue doing the same if they want. shruggs my own thoughts. I think this was a great video nonetheless! :-)

Good luck to the sistahood.
Khemistry101 1 year ago
I agree completely with the points Kwan and you brought up. The world is too big for ppl to close their mind off to being with different races, as most Black woman tend to do. And its not only about their current stature in life, its more about their mindset and maturity level that attracts me as well as most women.
amabelscorner 1 year ago
Why is the focus always on there not being any quality black men? To be fair, many black men feel there are few quality women. They have a list of grievances too!
A woman could go to college & graduate earning maybe $50 - $70k a year. A man could work for Verizon or UPS & earn the same amount. They're pretty much within the same socio-economic class, but I've heard women call that "dating down!"
kimmaytube 1 year ago 2
@kimmaytube
95% of my neighbors are married black couples.

TheSoctress 1 year ago
@TheSoctress
Problems with that argument:
1) WM/BW are the rarest interracial pair is because they generally aren't attracted to one another. Are there exceptions? Absolutely. But most BW are going to be disappointed if they want long term/ marriage. I did not say all. I said most. There are many social & cultural reasons (family pressures incl) why the vast majority of American WM who date interracially choose asian (or other) women.
European men seem more open to marriage w/ BW.
kimmaytube 1 year ago
@kimmaytube: "they generally aren't attracted to one another," and this is based on? Are you looking at "trends?"Social behaviors/how things appear? Because this is certainly inadequate to make such a generalization. You can't make that generalization. Period. I haven't done research on WM,AW, BW, dating, marriage,etc. so, I can't say "a lack of general attraction "IS" the reason why BW WM aren't getting together at high rates( whatever bull crap terminology)"
TheSoctress 1 year ago
@kimmaytube: Part 2: What do YOU mean by attraction? Are you talking about physical/social/economic/religious/spiritual/all,etc. What? I think there are a host of factors that we should analyze before drawing ANY KIND of conclusion! Factors like: Chance, Opportunity, Region. For example, In Seattle, Washington and Southern California, there might be "high" "higher rates" of WM/AW dating, marrying and some of this may be due to
TheSoctress 1 year ago
@kimmaytube: Part 3 Con't, the fact that there is a considerable amount of Asians living in Seattle and SoCal. Is this true in Illinois, Texas, Washington,etc? I don't know, probably not. Where we live and what's available to us can impact who we date/marry, why we date/marry. For example, If there isn't a lot of AW in one particular area but, there are "solid" amounts of WM and BW, then there's a greater potential for a higher number of WM/BW couples, RELATIVE TO WM/AW couples.
TheSoctress 1 year ago
@TheSoctress
Women aren't used to being rejected.
kimmaytube 1 year ago
@kimmaytube: Part 4, I think ANY MAN OR WOMAN should be honest with themselves about their dating opportunities,etc And it's not always about "are other races of men asking her out." This is too simplistic, it's old fashioned and traditional. Traditional dating STILL has relavance, I acknowledge that. But, dating has EVOVLED! People aren't always meeting at churches, potlucks or on the street and men arean't the only ones taking initiative and doing the asking. Just sayin'.
TheSoctress 1 year ago
@kimmaytube: Part 5, Con't, This is the problem with talking about dating, relationships. So much of how we think, what we say is based on our experiences and we really have a difficult time, stepping outside or going beyond our experiences. So much of this is conjecture and heresay. That's all it is. This is what these little debates are centered on.
TheSoctress 1 year ago
@kimmaytube Also, I think a lot of our perception of what is out there, what's not, what's lacking, what's in abundance,etc has to do with the part of the country/region that we live in or come from. For example, in my view, in terms of BM, Chicago doesn't have much to offer. This is how I feel. However, I feel like, if I go to Maryland or Atlanta, for example, there's more BM in these regions who have something to offer or more BM who meet my standards, if it was my goal to look for a BM.
TheSoctress 1 year ago
@TheSoctress
Only when *I* personally asked myself, was I able to find my answer.
kimmaytube 1 year ago
@kimmaytube: Part 6, Con't: I don't mean to suggest that it'll be rosey if I go to ATL or Maryland. I'm not that naive! I just think there might be more opportunity and a greater chance of me being able to meet MORE BM (if it was my goal to only date BM)whose socioeconomic status matches mine, who is more educated, have good solid jobs/careers,etc RELATIVE TO a places like Chicago or Detroit or Gary,etc.
TheSoctress 1 year ago
@TheSoctress
I am simply calling attention to actual, (including measurable) social trends.
kimmaytube 1 year ago
@kimmaytube: Part 9 Con't: "You're arguing possible exceptions." You're exactly right, they ARE possible AND they ARE REAL! Chance, opportunity, and region (to name a few) often times play a role in interracial dating/marriage and dating/marriage IN GENERAL. This isn't rocket science, I don't need to do a study to say this. This is simple, sensible, reasoned thinking.
TheSoctress 1 year ago
@kimmaytube: Part 10, Con't: You, on the other hand will need to do research in order to make the generalization that BW/WM "are generally not attracted to each other." YOUR argument IS "POSSIBLE" but, it's NOT empirical! If you had said something like, in my view, or in my opinion, that would've been different because I can't debate you about your experiences. Period.
TheSoctress 1 year ago
@kimmaytube: Part 11, Con't: Last one-However, I can debate you when you make a generalization and state it as a fact or when you state your opinion (which is what it really is) as a fact. You're entitled to your own opinions but, you're NOT entitled to your own facts! Sorry.
TheSoctress 1 year ago
@TheSoctress
Ask them.
You seem fixated on the topic of interracial dating even though I tried to steer the conversation to how black women can better seek viable black men.
kimmaytube 1 year ago
@kimmaytube: Now it's annoyingly repetitive. It's fruitless to continue this debate. No value in it. Let me just say this and let that be all. I think you're cool and I like some of your videos, I'm actually subscribed to you. But, please,don't go to my page to see what I look like, try to find out a little about me, and then "identify" me. @kimmaytube The 'singleness' has ALOT more to do with age. Atlanta is a much, much younger city (population-wise) than Maryland! Unfortunately, your argument on singleness in Atlanta is a perfect example of why statistics aren't dependable. But should, by no means AT ALL, be overlooked! ;-)
bintasyllah 3 months ago
@kimmaytube I'm aware of Maryland's Prince George area and that is wonderful to see! So, I understand what you talking about Kim. A lot of the Blks are nicely middle class or higher, married, have beautiful homes,etc. But, I'm just keeping it "100," you know that much of the southside of chicago does NOT look like the prince george area. These are 2 "different types" of blk folks! LOL!
TheSoctress 1 year ago
@TheSoctress
There IS a higher % of married black couples, which relates back to stable employment (i.e. government jobs)
kimmaytube 1 year ago
@kimmaytube
I'll hafta agree with you about Maryland. I live there as well. There is NO difference.
Khemistry101 1 year ago

Exactly. And the majority of us are transplants that come from states all over the US.
So if anything, it is the great "melthing pot" of black folks. A nice diverse sample to tell what we're really all about.
kimmaytube 1 year ago
@kimmaytube: Part 7 Con't: Well, in my opinion, there ARE DIFFERENT KINDS OF BLK FOLKS. I'm not saying that blks folks in Maryland don't share any problems that some poor Blks have but, I am referring to socioeconomic status, how one carries themself and values. Blks, like any other group ARE NOT a monolithic group. There are ingroup differences and variations.
TheSoctress 1 year ago
@TheSoctress
Peace.
kimmaytube 1 year ago 2
@kimmaytube: Part 8, Con't: I don't mind the terms good/bad IN THIS CONTEXT, cause these terms can refer to compatibility traits that a person can deem "good/bad" FOR THEM. So, in this way, they are useful.
TheSoctress 1 year ago
@TheSoctress
Not sure if you caught it.
kimmaytube 1 year ago
@kimmaytube: "Your "responses" just seem to go all over the place." It probably feels this way because I've made several comments and I've responded to all of your comments, remarks that I didn't agree with or took issue with. However, I've maintained the same general argument, w/ smaller debates that I probably should not have engaged.
TheSoctress 1 year ago

hey, I don't know what's going on.

@kimmaytube word...these old bougie girls think they DESERVE a husband because they're educated..A lot of the time these women are not wife material at all
Machelle3200 1 year ago
@kimmaytube w/ all do respect u cannot use ur own anecdotal experiences to understand/explain an issue. If u r goin to approach an issue like this probability factors must b addressed. Fact at this moment there r more BW than BM in U.S & most of NA. Fact of the bm in the US a significant & staggering amount are in prison or have prison records, another amount of this group have not finished high school. These FACTS r what contribute 2 bw’s difficulty finding bm.
misstiffy25 1 year ago 2

Sounds like you've peeped the game!
Class bigotry is big, it even transcends race.

@Khemistry101

Its all about dating a variety of people rather then trying to change men that cannot be changed.
g6686not 1 year ago 10
@g6686not
I agree.
Khemistry101 1 year ago
@Khemistry101 I disagree..most of the clean cut stable guys, want very very very slim women...that's why most of the those types end up with white or latin women....these men are very superficial.
Machelle3200 1 year ago
@Machelle3200
Generally speaking, by the time these clean cut guys are established, they have long since given up on most sistas and spin off in another direction. Nothing wrong with that. One must get in where they fit in. The same applies to women.
Khemistry101 1 year ago
@g6686not pick of any man?...what part of the country is this going on ...cause I need to move there asap! cause in the urban environment I live in, the men are all locked up or gay!
Machelle3200 1 year ago

Hell no!
yoruba21 1 year ago

This was a great vidoe.... I agree with a lot of things you both said.
