Just got the game on VC. love it, I can't wait to use Mario, Bowser and Geno again. My favorite teamates, I think Peach is for noobs seeing that she can heal you health alot!

Just before Mario 64, in the second quarter of 1996. In fact, the Mario model used in this game is the first 3D model of Mario ever used and I think it's also the first game where Princess Toadstool appears as Princess Peach.

I don't think if it will ever be made available on the VC service - even though it features Nintendo characters, it was still Square who produced it and if we learn anything from Square is that they are the emperors of the remake and reedition, so it's much likelier that we see a DS remake rather than a ROM on the VC - it's a shame, though.
