Which is the better performer: the ST or the regular one?

the only stupid design of the engine is the carb its all cast together and mines i tried to adjust it but dose not like to idle also the clutch bell is very badly cast i would recommend upgrading the flywheel and clutch bell. I converted mine to electric if anyone want to see it i have a video up

@30GB I know this is an old post, but was there ever an upgraded clutch bell? Never had a problem with any of mine. (though did snag lightweight flywheels for both my 09's)

@Tinytacohead they do but these crappy things aint worth spending money on, go look up xray they have kick ass rcs that are very very well built.

@30GB meh, the mini09 rocks and yes.. I've seen Xray's stuff, (as well as been in the hobby for 18 years). I'd take the 09 over the NT18T any day of the week.

eletric is more reliable and maybe a little faster but i like the roar of nitro cars

@GLOCKY10 me too, I get bored with electric. I gots to have some screaming nitro to be happy in most of my RC's!! :D Oh, and the mighty Sirio09 is killer. I've got a regular Mini09 & one with ST arms/driveshafts/wheels, but still a buggy body & towers. (cause I think it looks better & the towers have more shock mounting points)

i work at Hobbytown usa and at my shop the go for about 300 for the kit and youll probably see 35-40 mph out of em.
