@3rdLegman91 Accualy you can the BMW M6 for example, and thats before I get into any other cars that cost as much as the CL65 AMG black ($300,000). And btw the BMW M6 cost $200,000 less And is equal, if not beter than the Merc. And dont get me started on other cars that cost under $300,000
@4thGenStang CL doenst even have a black edition, and theres a few reasons, your comparing M6 to black series while you should compare it to regular AMG, m6 is a fast car, CL is a luxury cruiser, the coupe version of the S, and don't get me started on how much more maintenance BMW requires over mercedes

I dont like Mercs, they are classy.. but i hate their engines and especially transmission.... they place automatic transmission on everything, which makes it extra boring... they are perfectly made for older people, for bussiness men, for Dads, Grandpas...

That is boring and did you actually drive a car in your life? do you know how hard it would be to handle a supercar in real life conditions with a manual gearbox? . i would say its more about preference such as design and the feel of the car instead of all out performance if they r closely matched when u drive on the freeway u dont race the car next to u full throttle all the time or at all no matter what car it is

Please just be quiet while you have the chance. The new M3 is better overall than the 63-series whether it be C-CL-CLK, S-SL or E series. I have owned M3's in the past and are bad ass cars, I love them. I've been a devout M3 follower for as long as I remember owning them. I now own an E55 AMG and I love the car to death but it's no M3.
It's really not about who's better, all of them are great, it's about choice. RS4 is about grip and safety, M3 is about pleasure of driving and handling, and AMG it's kinda muscle, yes, but i just like it. I think it suits better for the road(than circuit).
Anyway, i don't think that C63 AMG and RS4 are copies of M3. Really, I mean...Civic Type R and Focus ST are copies of GTI? And if yes, why?! Cuz the GTI was the first to apear on the market?! Neah, i think, all models(C63AMG,M3,RS4) are very very good cars with their advantages and disavanteges. Personaly i'd prefer the AMG.
The funny thing is, while u Merc fans talk up the CLK63AMG B.Series - which is no doubt a nice, fast f*kin car; a BMW X6 4WD beats the CLK DTM and Black Series on the Nurburgring. Type in Nurburgring lap times in Wikipedia and you shall find!

Ha i own the Black series and you obviously dont know what your talking about, Its got fully adjustable suspension with front and rear strut bars. It handles perfect. Out of corners put it in manual shift. The tires just want to spin with the torque, Completly differt car then the regular 6.3 model if anyone didnt already know that.

I have driven a black series buddy... and I do know what I'm talking about, I race cars on a weekly basis and comparatively it just doesn't hang. Mercs are a straight line kinda car, once they get into the curves they can't hang. Sorry, one reason why elderly people like them. Heavy, luxurious, but they don't do it in the curves...

BMS's usually handle better on a TRACK with nice perfect and level tarmac. Nothing else. That's my experience. But you don't drive on a track most of times. The benzes have always bin more stable in a straight line or long single fast corners on less than perfect roads. They don't like to change direction. That's the backside of it on winding roads. But it has it's goods on the Autobahn. Few seem to understand this.
i beg to differ. ive driven both under all circumstances, and my opinion is BMW's handle better as a whole. Benzes have monster engines and prettier bodies. BUT BEEMAS FEEL THE ROAD.
Its all on the driver...how do you think the Mercedes DTM teams dominate that league so much. These are all factory chassis, with obviously the DTM regulated mods, which isn't much if you look at rule book(when it comes to modifying chassis and aerodynamics of it).
DTM's are very tricky tracks and reason Audi is even somewhat close with MB is because they are easier to handle than the Merc.
Merc's still handle amazingly well in the right hands...like any driver you HAVE TO KNOW YOUR CAR!

and cars in engalnd are almost double the price in the states, $150,000 will just about get you a full loaded Range Rover, now who hasn't got one of those
It is a beautiful car! My most favourite Mercedes. Its a shame you can't get such an amazing example of engineering without that automatic attached to it. That eight cylinder and that chassis and an auto. A crying shame!

whatever floats your boat buddy, but based on luxury, performance and status merc is where its at. Only because the m3 is a little bit faster around the track you think its better? sorry to burst your bubble but im sure you won't need those few milliseconds out in the streets. If you can't handle big boy toys then you better stick with your little m3 that even a 10 year old can drive.
by the way please enlighten me how did the c63 copy an m3 when its the first year the m3 has a v8!?!?!

Please just be quiet while you have the chance. The new M3 is better overall than the 63-series whether it be C-CL-CLK, S-SL or E series. I have owned M3's in the past and are bad ass cars, I love them. I've been a devout M3 follower for as long as I remember owning them. I now own an E55 AMG and I love the car to death but it's no M3.

It's really not about who's better, all of them are great, it's about choice. RS4 is about grip and safety, M3 is about pleasure of driving and handling, and AMG it's kinda muscle, yes, but i just like it. I think it suits better for the road(than circuit).

Anyway, i don't think that C63 AMG and RS4 are copies of M3. Really, I mean...Civic Type R and Focus ST are copies of GTI? And if yes, why?! Cuz the GTI was the first to apear on the market?! Neah, i think, all models(C63AMG,M3,RS4) are very very good cars with their advantages and disavanteges. Personaly i'd prefer the AMG.

The funny thing is, while u Merc fans talk up the CLK63AMG B.Series - which is no doubt a nice, fast f*kin car; a BMW X6 4WD beats the CLK DTM and Black Series on the Nurburgring. Type in Nurburgring lap times in Wikipedia and you shall find!
Sure, it has the V12 engine of the Mclaren F1 [Which BMW built], but it needs it for its weight. For a 4WD...an X5! to beat a CLK63AMG-BSeries, what happen their Merc?
Keep in mind, the Nurburgring is an international benchmark for all cars!

There is an X5 with a V12, it's just a one-of kinda prototype car with 700 bhp and like 800 nm. torque. So it's not a real proper car, but it did 7:50, it says on wikipedia under nürburgring laptimes "Non-series/road-legal vehicles...

Mercedes are great automobiles,but I feel that they are "heavy" on the track.They don't have very good command into the turns like an Audi or BMW do.Merc's don't handle amazing...by the way.They are powerful machines, but they are terrible in any agility test.I love this car, and actually had the opportunity to drive it.A great automobile for the price and a sleeper which makes it even better,but it is lacking a manual trans and a out of some corners the automatic trans is hesitant on the power

Ha i own the Black series and you obviously dont know what your talking about, Its got fully adjustable suspension with front and rear strut bars. It handles perfect. Out of corners put it in manual shift. The tires just want to spin with the torque, Completly differt car then the regular 6.3 model if anyone didnt already know that.

I have driven a black series buddy... and I do know what I'm talking about, I race cars on a weekly basis and comparatively it just doesn't hang. Mercs are a straight line kinda car, once they get into the curves they can't hang. Sorry, one reason why elderly people like them. Heavy, luxurious, but they don't do it in the curves...

Why are you trying to compare a Black series with All Mercedes. thats like saying the porsche GT3 RS is the same as the 997 C4S. BMS's usually handle better on a TRACK with nice perfect and level tarmac. Nothing else. That's my experience. But you don't drive on a track most of times. The benzes have always bin more stable in a straight line or long single fast corners on less than perfect roads. They don't like to change direction. That's the backside of it on winding roads. But it has it's goods on the Autobahn. Few seem to understand this.

i beg to differ. ive driven both under all circumstances, and my opinion is BMW's handle better as a whole. Benzes have monster engines and prettier bodies. BUT BEEMAS FEEL THE ROAD.

Its all on the driver...how do you think the Mercedes DTM teams dominate that league so much. These are all factory chassis, with obviously the DTM regulated mods, which isn't much if you look at rule book(when it comes to modifying chassis and aerodynamics of it).
DTM's are very tricky tracks and reason Audi is even somewhat close with MB is because they are easier to handle than the Merc.
Merc's still handle amazingly well in the right hands...like any driver you HAVE TO KNOW YOUR CAR!

i can agree with that. i have an Audi now and they also have a great command of the road. ive had 2 beemas and they handle well also. i can see ur point. no matter what car you have if you cant drive it, it wont perform well.

It is a beautiful car! My most favourite Mercedes. Its a shame you can't get such an amazing example of engineering without that automatic attached to it. That eight cylinder and that chassis and an auto. A crying shame!
