A lot of American bands from this period could have learned a lot from these guys.

1985 was the beginning of the end of good Metal for the most part with the onslaught of ridiculous bands like Poison, not to mention Judas Priest releasing the dreadful "Turbo Lover", which broke my heart.

@velvetsixx I think WASP made their glorious return with Babylon... and K.F.D. was also very good though experimental... I hated it after the 1st listening but now i like it much. And Blackie is still very good on stage. So I still like WASP, they are awesome, and Loudness are great too, best Japanese band to me.

A killer track from a killer album-Thunder in the East was the first Loudness record I picked up in the 80s but certainly not the last. These guys were awesome live, too, saw them open for Stryper and they were outstanding.
