the ritualistic parts of religion are silly. the morals exemplified by religions, Islam especially, are beautiful and should be absorbed, but not by the idea of religion. I use the word desire, because everything was Created by Allah God, and His Creation operates by His will and His desire. Desire then, is a part of the nature of all things. If suns go supernova or clouds release water, as it is explained in the Qur'an, it is by Allah's desire. Scientists have a desire to understand these things, yet they don't even understand the origins of their own desire.

The atomic bomb consisted of more than one type of atom. For your analogy to be more correct your bomb would have to start with only one atom. How do you make a bomb with a single atom? Why would it explode? and how do you get a million atoms (the so called creation of the universe) from the explosion of a single atom? And you still have not explained the origins of that first atom. It's interesting that you would use a WMD to explain mass creation.

What wasn't in the movie was that one of the women that Elijah Muhammad married, was a girl that Malcolm wanted to marry himself. Also, Malcolm had written to Elijah Muhammad saying he wanted to come back into the Nation Of Islam just prior to his assassination. That wasn't in the film either...

And yes, I have been in the NOI for 13 years.

Malcom's teacher was Elijah Muhammad. Malcolm turned against his teacher when Elijah silenced him after the Kennedy Assassination. Malcolm took it personally and attacked Elijah on public tv when he discovered that he had taken wives. Satan fanned the flames and the rest is history.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people actually believe that Malcolm was killed for becoming a Sunni Muslim. For some reason people just want to believe Hollywood.

Spike Lee would never have got his movie off the ground if it was truth. Malcolm X was America's Public Enemy no.1 When he attacked his teacher on tv, he became like the NOI's Salmon Rushdie & America's hero.

Does science even attempt to explain the origins of this "primeval atom?" Can you explain how it created itself out of nothing, and how this single atom gave itself the ability and desire to explode? Who was around to record the bang? and how this one atom gave birth into a whole universe of atoms since there was obviously no law of nature or reproduction at the time?

I think your argument would begin to have foundation if you looked up the definition of the word "bang" in the dictionary. Secondly, just because science cannot explain the origins of God, that comes no where near proving that God doesn't exist. Who created the big bang?

Is that the same science that explains the beginnings of the Universe by calling it a "big bang" and then turns around and says that sound cannot travel in the vacuum of space, making a "bang" (which is sound waves) impossible?

I'm very sorry but NOI is not the way of Islam. I am black and alhamduillah my parents follow Islam (Insha' Allah) the correct way. I have many muslim brother/sisters of different race. This is a popular misconception of what happened to Malcom. 1, Elijah Muhammad had already been on pilgrimage before Malcolm, so he already knew that there were muslims with blue eyes. 2, Malcolm was silenced from speaking in the NOI because of his inflammatory statements regarding assassination of Kennedy. 3, no one in the NOI has been convicted of his death. If someone in the NOI did kill malcolm, it would not have been because he decided to be a sunni muslim!

Nation of Islam followers are not Muslim, according to Islamic fiqh. They believe that God was a man and walked the earth as a man. They believe that white people are the creation of an evil scientist. They believe that Elijah Poole was an apostle of Allah, which is heresy. As a true Muslim, I am warning you all that these people are not muslim. They borrow some Islamic concepts but the total religion is a deviation from Islam. I pray that they see the light.

The Nation Of Islam's full title is: The Lost Found Members of the Nation Of Islam. The message to the Black man, is a message that prepares the losf-found members of Islam for reconnection with the traditional family of Islam.

That is a good question. Being muslims means that we already have the same goal, aim and purpose. So the muslims from other races have already joined with us. The Umma is already one.
