  • very nice - thanks for doing that

  • I don't get it

  • Mysticism- is not looking for absolute truth but just enough to make us feel comfortable within ourselves that control our emotions. During that process you will find no truth with emotions until the last one is finally put back into place where it belongs.

  • Thanks for posting this. It's a great intro to Mysticism and a great intro to Evelyn Underhill's work.

  • Thanks, I may add to this series in the near future, so check back again if interested : )

  • Found it very relevant to myself. I just came upon it looking for something else but this amorphic figure idea was, in my youth, assumed to by my own unique way of anthropomorphising ideas and passions, as I got older, and got into the things StevenErnest mentioned the geneneral idea seemed almost human in a spiritual sense, as in the very way to what I really wanted out of it.

  • great explanation!

    thanks :)

    PEACE AND LOVE

Isis and her Veil are all around us, from the primordial polarity of Virgin and Whore (of Babylon), to the Supermodels of pop culture, to Mother Theresa, to Kate Bush and Tori Amos, to Marija Gimbutas, Hypatia... even alchemistra! ^_^

  • Yes, she does. Librivox website is in the sidebar...
