MAC Address IP Ban bypass

I got banned from chaturbate, so i changed my isp and signed up under a different username and emal address, but im still banned.So by what means do they ban you by and is there anyway to bypass this ban. any help appreciated greatly thanks

Im trying to bypass a ban on a Arma2 dedicated server, I was banned by a hacker, it sucks, I dont think it was an IP or MAC address ban, nor player profile. Anybody out there can let me know how to get back on the server would be greatly appreciated.

@theflylice it depends. If you're on a router the IP is linked to the routers Mac. If not, its your mobos Mac.

It works only when ip ban is made for one specific computer, not for the internet connection or ip-area.

If you have a wireless router then this won't work for you. This is mainly for people with a single computer hooked into their modem. However, there is hope yet. Send me a PM with your router type and I'll help you through changing your MAC Address (If it's supported. No promises.)

there is only one way to change a MAC Address and it's not really even changing your MAC Address your just spoofing a fake one and it only works on your own LAN you see hosts have know way of telling if a computer on the same LAN as you has an authentic MAC Address one way you can use MAC spoofing is if someone has MAC filtering enabled on their router then the attacker can sniff authenticate MAC Addresses off the network and show it to the router to gain access to the network

other than what I just told you it is not possible to change your MAC Address because your MAC Address is the serial number hardcoded onto your NIC(Network Interface Card) by the manufacturer

That's gotta be the worst idea you can possibly have due to the fact that it needs to be one or maybe two changed from the original. Anything else and it'll zero out with a modem override

I'm not sure. Usually I just unplug it and plug it back in and it should read off the new mac address. Are you sure you're changing it properly?

To reset a modem do you unplug it and then plug it back in or do you leave it unplugged for a while?

I'd say leave it unplugged for at least 2 mins. Then it should reset and accept the new mac.

Then unfortunately your mac address cannot be changed, however there is still hope if you have a router.

Cool. Then your best bet is to go ahead and go into the routers 'Setup' options, under my router (Which is a Linksys BEFSR41) I hit the Setup tab and it has an option "Mac Address clone". I'm not sure how yours works, but look for something like that. If it's linksys, their interfaces are very similar across the board, so have a gander and good luck!
