There's like at least 2 minutes of Dudek amazing saves in that match. With any other goalie at that time that would be 10-3 for Milan. To be honest, i'd say that he was the real hero of that night and i am talking about 120 minutes, not penalties. He basicaly had 50% contribution to winning the cup. if you don't agree, fuck off - i will not reply. :)

How great was this game? ESPN showed it live back in the states in the afternoon. It was so amazing they changed programming around to replay it in the evening (on ESPN2 if I remember correctly). I already knew the result (couldn't watch it live due to work) but it was still the most enthralling match I've ever seen. This match alone got me interested in European football.

The whole season was full of passion. I remember Gerrard's goal against Olimpiakos in the first round. I enjoyed Liverpool defeating Juventus and Chelsea. as a Liverpool fan, this is the best game I have ever seen.(Not necessarily the best footballing game but the best drama,)If it was a Hollywood script, it couldn't have been written better. 3-0 down at half time (and it wasn't just the score line, we were played off the park!) Had to be Gerrard to score to get us back in. One of the best things about this game however (for me) was the reaction of people I spoke to the next day, even Everton fans said to me what a great game.
