I had a fire engine red one and I thought was one of my favorite cars I have ever owened. NICE CAR,,, It was always a little light 0-20 mph, but made up for it after that. Man I miss that car...

fuck your car sucks my enigne light stays off it has a after market filter and can do 250 miles a hour and lol all I did was replace the plugs lol

@IxIcOIrIEyIxI You prolly already got one, but you need just search and you will find.
Most air intakes are pretty universal for certain car eras. It shouldn't be too hard to type in 89 trans am air intake into google or amazon and find some decent K&N products.
Check the reviews if you can as well. Good luck!

I also have a 91 5.0. Not sure if anyone would know, but my cars been idling kinda high and sometimes when i put my car into gear, it stalls.

@MrSpazz08 check ur timing but deff check all of ur vacum lines and maybe a new fuel filter or air filter sounds like the car is chokeing
