basically yes lol

At bare minimun you need the overdrive -> AP weapon ability

this basically turn your overdrive into Ap

With stoic the more damage you take means more overdrive, so more damage equals more experience

then you can make this more effective with triple overdrive and triple AP :)

There is a better way to get more AP... actually double what you are doing right now.

You need a weapon with 4 slots and use all 3 of your mods + SoS OVERDRIVE. This doubles overdrive gain when their life is yellow. Simply use auto life to attain that status.

@FinalFantasyFan451 you know how the thunder plains are in 2 halves with the rest stop in between? well the iron giant is only in the second half on the far side of the rest stop. =)

@gaboteh the items for rikkus are the same as the ones for the rest... although once again fighting one eye is the best way to get triple overdrive weopons, and then its using the items you get from the monster arena, ill get the names next time i loggin sorry bout the wait work has increased my hours for the week

@re4gamez for ap, if your using this trick then stoic or comrade all the way, however if you dont overly use your overdrives or are powerful enough to handle all monsters in one area then you can have warrier and then your dammage is transfered to ap, although i think slayer is better for ap

ya. i'm almost done maxing out their stats. i didn't know you can get a weapon w/ tri ap, tri ov, overdrive to ap just by defeating the ultimate buster.

ah no but i used yuna everytime and other 2 to defeat ultima buster and always drop a weapon for yuna the heavenly axis.

Everytime It has a scene with sin,say when your going to kilika and you have to battle sin and his spawn,it freezes up,and now when you have to fight the sinspawn that ecscapes from the cage,after i beat him it freezes cause it starts a scene with sin.

ah i see what you mean... i havent heard of that problem, from what i know its nor possible to skip FFX cut scenes, i know you can in ffX-2 but not this one sorry mate hope you manaage to find a way round it

if so fight one eye in the monster arena drop rates fairly low for the triple ap (i think it is) weopon with 2 free slots

any other tips for leveling up quickly? im not new to this game but im not very good at it lol. ive had it for a few years and i dont even think ive even beaten it (only because i havent tried since i lost my best file on the game) but i really want to get better so anything?

im afraid before you can use this trick the best way of leveling is the age old trick of grinding,

i may make a video of teh best places to level up along the way through the game

Also, how do you get the triple stuff? Modify gear yourself? If yes, what ingredients? I'm kinda stuck+nooby now, and if I would like to grind all day long I'd probably play WoW instead of digging out this awesome game again ;)

it requires a bit of time, but you can get the triple ap (you need two slots too may take a good few tries) and thats from one eye in the monster arena the harder way for triple ap is to bribe malboros for a LOT! Triple overdrive needs 30 Winning Formulas which you get from capturing one of every monster in the game! you get 99 though :)

hey there Yidarmy4eva im glad my video helped you! the don tonberry is a good one to use, but it depends on your kills don tonberry only does max damage after a certain amount of kills... if i remember lol

and also if i remember right

you can get mega phonixes by bribing ghosts i think its like 30-40 for about 180,000 gil, but might wanna look at that first ill check it tomorrow for you

Bribe a Ghost(Sunken Cave) to get 38 mega-phoenix for 199,980 gil

or u can bribe a ghost for 250,000 and u get 99 mega phenixes
