  • nóssa só eu achei que é móo lombra!

  • Groovy!

  • Negative Mandelbrot

.... yes patrick mayonase is an instrument

  • ehh wha?

  • So a Negative Mandelbrot walks into a bar and orders a Positive Mandelbrot,

The question is, should the bartender ask for payment up front?

  • @zaq4267 eu não entendi!doi mau so burro mesmo

  • This video was uploaded on my birthday!

  • STFU

  • e_o so much math and science talk

  • Stange thing

  • It looks like it wants to rule the universe.

  • So this is what a negative reality inversion is! Neil from "The Youung Ones" was a genius!

  • @ArcanePath360

Actually that would be if you negated "x" ratther than "z" - this would be better desribed as "Negative imaginary inversion" ;)

  • wtf O.o

  • wait what is this?

  • looks like turbulence

  • Bad resolution

  • Tasty.

  • From an idiot's point of view (ie: moi) the result seems to be a little chaotic. I don't know if I mean that in terms of Chaos Theory, however. My knowledge of that is equal to my knowledge of fractals. I ask so I can learn something.

  • Well it's not *that* chaotic but it's certainly more chaotic than a standard quaternion ;)

  • ther is a perverse element to it. A harkonen fractal...

  • It's 42.

    The answer is 42.

    There is 42 of those.

    It is 42.

    The infinite stops at 42.

  • @bloodshotriddims I think Warcraftian is referring to the fact that the answer to the Ultimate Question is 42 (ref. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy with the Ultimate Question being "What is 6 times 9?" if I remember correctly).

  • @MakinMagicFractals 6x9 really

  • @bloodshotriddims z=z^2+c z2=z1^2+c z3=z2^2+c sure, it was a reference. Calm down.

  • @Warcraftian 42.

  • when you say third coordinate, do you mean the j-axis?

  • Yes, or if you prefer: z in (x,y,z,w).

  • @mjjuna an axis doesn't have an absolute letter associate with it. You can all them whatever you want. It's very comon to use x,y,z when having 3 coordinates. You might like to use i,j,k. You could also call them p,w,l,bob, philip, whatever if you liked.

  • @mjjuna If you're thinking in terms of the unit vectors - r,i,j,k then yes.

  • loox like frosting from the cake spilled a bunch on the table top. c'mon dude you can do better than that!

  • :)

I only posted it to demonstrate that simple modifications to the usual quaternionic iteration break the rotational symmetry.

  • That's telling him. -lol-

  • Mmmmm, chocolate fractal!

  • evil fractal!

  • I only say this because fractals are normally very beautiful :)

  • Has a dark ugly undertone to it, me thinks.

  • Looks like something out of Dr.Seuss. Maybe HE'S The question to life, the universe, and everything! O.o

  • Logical Tan

  • What's that?????????!!!!!!!

  • It's interesting that you should mention that....Fractals occur all the time in nature; lightning bolts, broccoli, all sorts of things!

  • galactical fractalisation!

  • I've seen that whilst operating an electric mixer...

  • Haha thanks, you just made me 53 characters happier.

  • looks like paint mixing.

  • Nice!. Like mixing a paste to cake.

  • School math classes need to touch on this aspect of math, the trippy, relevant side
