  • This such sweet sweet justice.

  • This laughable idiot actually lists himself as "Dr. Hovind" in the phone book. Inmate Hovind isn't a doctor of anything except mythology. And that worthless degree doesn't even come from an accredited institution. In the realm of science, he has no credentials and zero credibility. A charlatan. Enjoy your time in the Clink Dr. Delusional! I will pray for you...

  • Luke 6:29 If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic.

All this talk about retaliation and counter-suits doesn't sound very Christian. He needs to serve his sentence, repent, lick his wounds, and start over.

  • @macman2324

Lol. Owned atheist, good one. Are you trolling?

  • Kent Hovind is a joke and a complete idiot.

  • if you followed the bible excactly, as you thought, you wouldn't be in jail now... Jesus said to pay the taxes... and he also said, if the blame you, and they are wrong, it's good for you, but if the blame you, and they are true, you have a problem.. i think you have a problem now... may God's grace be unto you although

  • die in jail you bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Tragic. Tax laws could often place many self-employed people on wrong end of the law. Even trained law firms have difficulty nailing it all down. Do you know your own tax laws?

    I'm in the UK.

  • Yeah, I almost agree with kidigus - he's in prison for arrogance, yet people go free when they MURDER THEIR BABIES. Sounds about wrong.. That's why the justice system of one of the most moral countries (shudder) is almost completely bankrupt. If money didn't distract them, they might not want any form of justice.

  • creation vs evolution . freeforums. org

  • Kevin hovind is in jail because he exposed the new world order for who they really are. He is a national hero and a patriot for speaking out against them. The world needs more Kevin hovinds. God bless you bro!

  • @Hkhan23

CURSE YOU, TRUTH-SAYER! FOR LONG WE KEPT THIS A SECRET, AND THEN A MEDDLING LITTLE PEST LIKE YOU COMES ALONG DIVULGES OUR SINISTER PLOT!

  • @Hkhan23 Moron.

  • @jimmyjazz240 what do you know about what really goes on in this world??? you sad sad idiot

  • @Hkhan23

What is the most substantial evidence that proves the existence of the NWO? What is the NWO?

  • @PTurchan1

The same sick Jews control the Mass Media, Hollywood and Federal Reserve. Along with World Bank and IMF.

  • this is the first ive heard that kent hovind is in jail this is both appauling and disturbing. this world is fucked

  • Yeah! Like Nehemiah! You refference that man!!! Motivation to fight, building the wall!

  • haha "if you put me in jail I'll come after you!" "i don't wanna spend the next 5 years suing these guys" HAAAHAHAHA yeah right Hovind. See ya in 5 more years you twat.

  • @Americant47 This was a response to Kent himself as he says that he doesn't mind having the religion of evolution taught in public schools, as long as HIS tax dollars don't have to pay for it. What?! He didn't pay any taxes! How cretinous could one be? He knew he didn't pay taxes but used the lie(not fact) that HIS tax dollars shouldn't pay for the teaching of facts in school.

  • @mik99D religion of evolution? You sound like a moron...

  • @mmeasy123 I was quoting KENT HOVIND did you not see the video? Don't call me a moron, I know the quote is moronic, that is why I repeated it.

  • @mik99D You are still a moron for saying you forgive him. And if you are quoting someone, they have these things called quotation marks you can use.

  • @Americant47 Well you must remember that Kent is not a Christian as he lied to the Police and the IRS. He knowingly dealt with all his expenses by cash as not to leave a paper trail. He has been recorded scoffing at the way he leaves no paper trail. That is no accident. It was predetermined corruption, fraud and lies. I forgive him. But he is not a religious person as he doesn't sound like he is forgiving his enemies either. QED

  • I hope this guy gets raped everyday in jail!!!!!!!!

  • @knobcheese22 where are your morals. Using that logic anyone that you seem fit should be raped. You are making Atheist look bad, and i am not even one.

  • I don't hear any veiled threats by Hovind. Your title misrepresents the facts. Threatening civil action is not a crime. You misrepresent the facts to demonize the man and bolster support and that should be a crime.

  • He's a non violent criminal who was willing to pay a large fine, so why is he in jail which costs society a small fortune? If the persons Kent speaks about did violate the law then they should be held accountable to a higher standard. People who abuse their authority must be held accountable to a higher standard. If IRS agents abused their powers, the process, and lied, then they should be fined, fired, and made to restore Mr. Hovind. Regardless, prison for non violent crimes is retarded.

  • Read the details of what transpired before, during, and after the trials. I've checked out several trials involving citizens and the IRS. None of them gave me confidence with our judicial system.

  • How did these recordings get out did his wife betray him?

  • The Bible was not the final authority for America's founding fathers...Our founding fathers held one sacred truth and that was that religion was harmful to the prosperity and well being of a society. That is not only what I believe, that is a fact.

  • @CyberWeez, I agree, kind of. But know that God and religion are two different things.

  • haha ..that's rich from him, "obey the law"

  • @dstachon2002, yea? And how many people have never broken the law?

  • @miketonon ....true enough, but he's such a smug, self righteous and lying prick it just has an ironic flavour to it.

  • @dstachon2002, what is he lying about? Seriously, if you know something I don't, I want to be informed.

  • The Bible was the final authority for America's founding fathers and that's why you have a Presbyterian Constitution.

  • @Islandretreat huh?

  • pay your taxes scum bag

  • I am glad that the good Lord above saw fit to empower the Federal Prosecutors with the Holy Spirit and jail this evil doer!

  • Shut up & pick up the damn soap Hovind!

  • I love Kent Hovind. I think he is a good man and I completly agree with him.

  • @HbAssassin It's difficult to agree with false information.

  • @NoNameLikeThisOne, It's difficult to agree with false information? Really??? So I take it you've never agreed with something that wasn't true?

  • @miketonon Well OBVIOUSLY. If something is a lie, you wouldn't agree with it. Isn't that human nature? To question and find out for yourself?

  • Poor proor Kent.

That he was dumb enouth to think he could spout nonsence forever.

  • This is not his wife. This is just a recording of his wife.

  • Sounds like he took a page out of LRH's books and is practicing the Scientology version of Christianity now.

  • Why Kent? Why did U listen to SATAN???

  • Because he's a zealous Christian, no one cares about the sham this court case was. Hovind was SCREWED because he was too politically incorrect and just a little too arrogant about it. ... but there is no law against arrogance.

  • Just another tax cheat, because in the end ... like all televangelists ... all he really worships is money.

  • @bustermk2 he has no copyright on his videos. and encourages people to copy them and give them to friends, yeah he's obviously all about the money, cheap suit and all.

  • @ink357

... you forget about the 10 properties he owned.

In fact Hovind continually lied about the extent of his wealth claiming that it all belonged to God.

Perhaps God was not happy about being drawn into Hovind's tax evasion scheme and decided to let him swing.

As Jesus said "Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s" ... Hovind should reread that part of the bible ... particularly now that he has so much time on his hands.

  • what got him in jail was doing those NWO videos

  • @jtyoung18 Absolutely

  • Fuck the IRS and the government corrupt mother fuckers.

  • @oo04n7h0n90oo He deserves to be in jail for not paying his freaking taxes, he also deserves to be in jail for all the bullshit he said.

  • @TheAmazingstarman Bullshit? check his videos out you ignorant.

  • @guztjo If you believe ONE WORD of his propaganda then you're just as stupid as him, I've seen his videos, that man doesn't understand anything about science, he's an ignorant bible humping moron.

  • @guztjo hahaha you're a fucking idiot.

  • anyone who listen to this and understands the laws regarding his case should KNOW he didn't break any law. He was picked on for exposing the FALSE NWO religion of evolution EFFECTIVELY. A died hard hell bound evolutionist will NOT see it and does NOT want to see it. The IRS is just a collection agency for the FED

  • I believe this is Kent Hovind, but I don't see anything wrong with what he's saying, also I've noticed a lot of very offensive language being displayed towards him about this video, as opposed to any constructive, or thoroughly explanatory comments about how he's being against the law. One more example of why I thoroughly disrespect anti-theists. If they have a problem with Mr. Hovind's belief of origin then they can offer criticism, not insults.

  • @Jimbrady57

Hovind deserves criticism and insults, and that's what he gets.

  • @Jimbrady57 hovind is sucking a big, shitty, AIDS infected nigger dick, right now. his butthole is going to evolve into a basketball hoop by the time he gets out of jail hahahahaha.

  • @Jimbrady57 Amen...he is just trying to stand up against the Abuse of Big Government..People like O.J can get away with Murder..But you cannot fight the irs and ever win..even though nowhere can they show us a law that requires us to pay taxes...Our Constitution says our labor is not a tangible good and no taxes should be payed on labor. But you have people hate on Kent cause he is a man of God..Its not kent they hate as much as they do for who he stands for.Peace

  • @BudPeters44 Well since it doesn't say it, then stop paying your taxes, and we will jail you too. Because it does say it. Kent is NOT a man of God. And what does OJ have to do with this? You do know they are totally different cases right? One was a murder trial, this is tax evasion case. Like Kent if there is something you do not like, you claim it isn't in the Constitution. Well it most certainly is. It is hilarious how he thinks he has power from jail! LOL he is still trying to be in control.

  • @dwade1962eagle dude, yes kent did things wrong..we all do we just have not had a witch hunt as he has..and him being a man of God is between him and God not you to decide..You can go kiss the IRS ass all you want you Government suck up..before you die i guarantee you will have your run in with them..Have a good day

  • @BudPeters44 I tell you what Bud i would have had more sympathy had he actually made it a tax objector case, but fact is he intentionally hid and forged documents, meaning that he understood he owed. Now being in prison for 10 years is a bit much. I will give you that. His sentence should have been a year with the back taxes paid. His wife should never have gone. It was his own arrogance that cost him. There is also the fact that his ministry is not a forgiving one. Irony.

  • @dwade1962eagle "His wife should never have gone. It was his own arrogance that cost him. There is also the fact that his ministry is not a forgiving one. Irony." what the hell are you talking about?

  • @betterworld1 Please read what was written before by myself and BudPeters then know the facts of the case and the disposition of the case. Also know something of Kent Hovind and his ministry.

  • @dwade1962eagle since you answer like an asshole then i think its safe enough to assume your opinions on the matter are b.s..

  • @betterworld1 Yes I answered an asshole remark with a returned asshole remark. Next time ask your question in polite manner. Like this, "I am late to this conversation, what do you mean dwade?"

  • @Jimbrady57 What do you mean"you believe this is Kent Hovind?" Has anyone denied it? What's wrong with what he's saying? It seems obvious to me. He seems unable to listen to anybody about anything. He doesn't seem to have a humble hair on his head. Has he ever once admitted anyone has ever had a point and *maybe* he's wrong about something?

I don't understand you complaint about "anti-theists". Being against religion does not mean that, by definition, they throw around unjustified insults.

  • @Jimbrady57 The main problem Mr. Hovind has was that he lied. He called his museum a product of his scientific research. When he was asked to pay, as all scientific museums must, the taxes on property and payroll he said "No. This is a church. This is my ministry."

So they sued him. If he could have just said from the start that this was a religious project he would have every right to fight the conviction and he would have won. His arrogance put him in prison.

  • @kidigus There are several things you are missing, because you don't understand the US constitution. Income taxes are voluntary. Secondly, he writes on his blog, what he was really charged with, it had to do with a drug law in florida, which he was in no violation of, it had to do with depositing money into your account. He has all this on his blog. Now if you would like to do some research on income tax, then you will find out he is innocent. In fact, income tax is Florida is voluntary!

  • @micah1116 Thanks for replying. I really do understand the US Constitution pretty well; although I am certainly no scholar. Levying taxes has been a power granted to Congress since the civil war. The Sixteenth Amendment was the Constitutional birth of Federal income taxes; the States have zero say in it.

And you should not rely on Kent Hovind's blog for info. The Grand Jury charges (almost 60 in all) in US v. Kent Hovind (et. ux.) are a much better source.

  • @micah1116 So are we done here?

  • @micah1116 Are we okay? I'm sorry if I came off as kind of a dick.

  • @Jimbrady57 The whole system is rigged... The illuminati ingenered and controls the whole system. The judges are Baal priests. The Zionists shut him down because he was telling the truth about them and their lies. Evolution is a creation of satanists. Darwin was inspired by Satan for sure and the whole system is a proof that we live in a illusion. Satan wants to be God but a world made out of lies only can fall like he fell in the first place.

  • @axe414 Hail Satan!

  • @Jimbrady57 i do not like hovinds point of view and strongly disagree with it but i agree 100% with your very good point. if you do not like someones point of view don't get mad and insult them offer them your opinion.

  • @Jimbrady57 I don't insult him because of his beliefs. I don't mind what he believes, but if he goes around recruiting innocent, unsuspecting people with false evidence and fallacious statements, then I will insult him for that.

  • @NoNameLikeThisOne You are describing neoDarwinist bunk peddlers who have made "common descent" a very popular ideology to Atheists and other materialist fundamentalists; so you should rather commend Hovind for pulling no punches in exposing the myth of "common descent," which is an assault on true science demanding testable, repeatable, and observable evidence. No true science would allow neoDarwinist fables of imaginary protocells and an imaginary body of intermediate transitional forms.

  • @RussianPunch First of all, I disagree with your definition of science. Second of all, the foundation of your argument is based entirely upon the merits of evolution, which I will not take the time to debate. Thirdly, you are not respecting the opposite side by misrepresenting it, a fallacy of the lowest form. Fourthly, Hovind does in fact attack "common descent." And lastly, I insult Hovind for spreading false information, not for having an opposing opinion. Please revise your statement.

  • @NoNameLikeThisOne Oh how convenient for neoDarwinism peddlers to corrupt the definition of science! Of course, Hovind is well justified in publicly exposing the logical fallacies of circular reasoning, equivocation and the outright fraud used to sustain the bunkum of "common descent," or neoDarwinism.

  • @RussianPunch Oh how convenient for you to avoid the argument completely. Well, good bye.

  • @NoNameLikeThisOne As neoDarwinism materialism fundamentalist, you naturally could not care less that such bunkum has sacrificed the integrity of science practices for the cause of neo-Darwinist, materialist ideology.

  • @Jimbrady57 Yes I do kind of agree that people connect this tax thing with the evolution debate. Although he seems to have not paid his taxes, I do think that 10 years jail was a harsh sentence.BUt that is what you get when your judicial sytem has so many religionists in it. Ironically I bet if USA was a secular society, he would have had a lighter sentence. I do feel some sympathy for him. But i criticise him strongly for adding confusion and spreading BS in the science curriculum.

  • @Jimbrady57 I do wish him NO harm in prison and I hope he comes out a better man, and that he lives a full and happy life when he comes out. This must be heartbreaking for his family. I still think he is a twat, but that isnt illegal to be a twat I guess.

  • @Jimbrady57

You don't see anything wrong with what he's saying? You do realize that Hovind committed/admitted to felonies in these phone calls, right?

  • @Jimbrady57 "Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions." - Thomas Jefferson. If ANYONE and their ideas are worthy of ridicule it's Kent Hovind. I'll insult the prick all I want.

  • @Jimbrady57 Mr Hovind ( I am glad you didn`t call him Dr , as his qualifications come from an unaccredited diploma mill) Have you seen his dissertation ? It is a hoot. I don`t suppose this man would last half an hour in a proper science undergraduates course , yet he has the nerve to challenge the scientific consensus without the benefit of any understanding of what he is talking about. The problem is not his demonstrable ignorance , but his arrogance and his dishonesty.

  • @Jimbrady57

he's actively conspiring to hide assets, on a bugged jail phone. did you listen to the whole thing?

  • @Jimbrady57 Only small minded people throw out insults towards him and others. Any intellectual anti-theist does offer criticism and refutations to his bold claims that lack substantial and verifiable evidence. And he brought much of this upon himself with his ignorance and arrogance.

  • I so love these ones.. as they say if one lies one needs to keep up the lies. But one spins a web such way that well.. it leads to this.

These tapes are great evidence showing how much utter disregard Kent has for any law. Even the biblical one "Thy shalt not bear false witness"

  • hows all those lawsuits going for ya kent? little douche, rot in prison you lying piece of shit.

  • First off Idiots,

How do You know this is Kent?

    lol

I dont think its actually Kent.

  • @therealbwscom If this isn't Kent he has the perfect imitation down. The voice, the mannerisms, accident.

  • @therealbwscom "lol" because his voice is exactly the same as his voice on any other video and audio, he's talking about the IRS, being in prison, and "the lord." dipshit.

  • This is right, this is justice. These religious frauds should all be locked up. Sad thing is, when this ridiculous douchebag gets out, there still are people stupid enough to listen to his lies. There will be idiots who give money for religious causes. Religion is poison, it has to die if we want to advance as species.

  • the holocaust was fueled and made possible by evolutionary thinking, if you disagree with that statement, read some textbooks from nazi germany, if you still disagree than you're a fucking idiot and you can't be helped.

  • @MarkSawawzome Please learn the difference between evolution and controlled breeding. Humans have been breeding cows, dogs, cats, etc.. for centuries. Blaming the holocaust on german shepherds would be a lot more accurate but still wrong.

  • @MarkSawawzome Hitler was a creationist. "For it was by the Will of God that men were made of a certain bodily shape, were given their natures and their faculties." -- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, vol. ii, ch. x

"The most marvelous proof of the superiority of Man, which puts man ahead of the animals, is the fact that he understands that there must be a Creator." -- Adolf Hitler, Hitler's Tabletalk (Tischgesprache im Fuhrerhauptquartier)

  • Kent Hovind isn't going to "spend the next 5 years in jail." He's going to spend the next 10 years in Federal "Pound me in the ass" prison.

  • Shame on Kent!

  • We are by far a crristian nation. God is the Law maker, Jesus delivered us from it. God said we have an advocate with him for forgiveness. What I've seen in my short life is that christians have changed and conformed w.out knowing. Theyy lack love and love judging. Lets let kent & Jesus work their issues out. in the meantime, Why let his knowledge go to waist! No stones in heaven to cast! THROW WHILE YOU CAN? If prison determines ones rank with God who is no respector of persons, I'm a 446Grand!

  • @sOuLunSettled but.... 'God' doesn't exist... 0.o

  • @brj0207 ..says the idiot...O.o

  • @bigspliffs And how am I an idiot? or are you just so megalomaniacal and arrogant that you think you can prove it?...if so I'm guessing it's going to be some BS argument of circular reasoning, special case reasoning or a combination, but by all means, go ahead... definitively prove that god exists.

  • @brj0207 You're an idiot because you have the arrogance the state 'God does not exist.' I don't have to prove anything, your life and your beliefs affect mine in no way, i couldn't care less what you believe. But making a statement like that suggests that you have undeniable proof that God does not exist...i'm guessing you don't, which makes you an idiot for suggesting it. :)

  • @bigspliffs The burden of proof is on the person that claims that something DOES exist. According to your logic, it could be possible that Islam is right, since it can't be definitively proven false either. Regardless, you should look at science, you know... that thing that's supported by millions all over the world with all evidence gathered pointing to it. Religions are mythological, illogical, unsupported fallacies. I can point out MANY self-contradicting things in the Bible. I win. Dumb ass.

  • @brj0207 1).

I do look at science. Prof.Walter Veith is a great source, you should check him out. He taught evolution for a long time, very well respected. Stephen Hawking is great to, oh and Nassim Haramein.

I agree, religions are a disgrace...well, for those that fall in head first that is.

You see, most people just get on with their daily lives, and occasionally thank God from time to time, and maybe pray a little in times of need....

  • @bigspliffs They are great scientists. It's just when people falsely claim that religion is true, try to impose it on others, or think that they're somehow superior to those who don't believe their blind faith that causes me to speak out. There is not one shred of tangible evidence to support any religion, and based on Christianity's version of "God", there should be no other religion in existence, everything should be perfect, and it should make sense. Not one of those things is remotely true.

  • @brj0207 2).

But you seem to be angry because of the stupid people, that do stupid things in the name of religion....

Tell me. If God was finally done away with, and everyone became atheist, would that make the 'extremists,' just vanish? Or would they still be here?

You see, its not religion that has these people commit their wrong doings, its people. And the weak minded will always be manipulated for someones personal gain. Total atheism will change nothing....

  • @brj0207 3).

But for the common, everyday person, who literally make up the numbers in the world. They will have lost that little bit of something they just couldn't put their finger on in life. And it will be a downward spiral from there.....

  • @bigspliffs I'm "fighting for" logic. There are SO MANY contradictions in the Bible, Quran, and every other religious text. It's people like Hovind, Ray Comfort, etc..that make a true secularist country difficult. I would never want to or try to banish religion or impose anything but logical reasoning on others. In some ways, religion helps people (though through illogical fears and false claims) become more generous, kind, and willing to help society, but by no means is any religion peaceful.

  • @brj0207 1).

Well i wouldn't agree in saying, by no means is any religion peaceful. But the mainstream media ones, yes i can see where you are coming from.

I don't see how you can come to the conclusion, " There is not one shred of tangible evidence to support any religion." That would only be true, if you were unwilling to look, i suppose, since you're view of God is so warped, why would you want to spend time solving the mystery?

  • @brj0207 2).

Alot of information has been surpressed my friend, the world is much more wonderful that you can ever imagine, and science can help us find it. And then, and only then can everything be perfect, making perfect sense.

I also understand your detest for Hovind etc....

  • @brj0207 4).

Those influences caused you to make a comment like, "God does not exist." A bold statement in a place where you can only expect backlash. And when the backlash arrived, you quickly assumed i was "a dumbass," very quickly establishing yourself as 'superior' to me without full knowledge.

You say the Bible etc is full of contradictions, yet your pre concieved knowledge is contradicted. Who should we believe?

  • @brj0207 5).

I'm not trying to convince you that God exists, or that you should 'change your ways.' Your life is yours, but we should all ignore the negativity in the mainstream, and work together for the true answers.

To each his own, and to all a good life. :)

  • @bigspliffs Well, you claim that I'm unwilling to look for evidence, and since you could only make that claim if you know where to look... show me the evidence that ANY "god" exists. Also, how is my view of "God" so "warped"? I suggest you stop making assumptions if you would like to sound intelligent.

Furthermore, what are you basing that Dawkins "and the like" are "Getting rich of something they don't believe in"?

Continuing, what specifically of my "pre concieved knowledge is contradicted"?

  • @bigspliffs Thank you for not trying to change my ways, as I won't unless your "god" speaks to me directly and in full presence of total recording equipment. I wouldn't want anyone else to miss out on that meeting.

However, for now, I'm basing my beliefs on logic, evidence (or lack there of, in the case of religion), and questioning.

  • @bigspliffs Finally... the only reason that I say that "god" doesn't exist is that I intend to have a conversation with a religious figure, and maybe they can show me evidence to refute it.

So far, I have yet to come across a logical argument to support any religion. That includes yours.

  • @brj0207 There you go again, thinking you are vastly superior to me. I'm sorry i wasted my time.

    Peace and God Bless

  • @bigspliffs I think that LOGICALLY, I am more superior. Simply because like every other religious person I've come across, you can't answer simple questions. You can't give any evidence for any claim you make.

Finally, because you seem to have just given up for lack of willingness, or perhaps just ability to think freely; and I'm only making this statement because I'm 15 and can get away with this as accepted behavior of my general age group's maturity level....

YOU JUST GOT PWNED W/ LOGIC!!!

  • @brj0207 1).

If you want evidence, the only evidence i can present, is the evidence of Jesus Christ. It would be impossible for anyone to present undeniable evidence of God in a physical sense, the same way it is impossible for someone to present evidence that science can account for everything.

I have not given up, like i said, i don't wish to change you, thats up to you....

  • @brj0207 2).

Part of the beauty of living, is understanding things for yourself, rather than lapping up the ideology of a contained set of mind.

The fact that you can't even decipher the latter of my conclusion, begs the question. Are you even worthy to scrutinize outside of you world view?

Based on your assumed knowledge of religion, i would conclude a definate no.

Accepted behaviour, of someone in your age group, should be to respect your elders....

  • @brj0207 3).

You can't possibly concieve the whole wonders of life at so young an age. And thank you for reminding me of your level of maturity. It speaks volumes in your ability to think past the nominal.

If you want to speak logic, ok. Give me one good logical reason why i shouldn't believe in God.

  • @bigspliffs It's funny how much your tone changed from basically "I'm just saying" to "I'm older, therefore I know more" as soon as I told you I'm 15... wisdom knows no age. Worthiness is a construct of humans, quite the same as religion, sin, and even evolutionary science. The difference with science, however, is that it's based on evidence.

  • @brj0207 My tone did not change. I suggested you repect your elders to save your humilty. Science is not based on evidence, it is based on how humans depict the physical world around them. Human error can play a big part.

How many times has science had to change its conclusions based on further examination in a particular field?

Your faith in humans, as a moral law giver is conclusive to the point of self destruction.

  • @bigspliffs Science IS based on evidence... OBSERVABLE, testable, tangible evidence, REPEATABLE tests which will give you the same data over and over... etc. Science is constantly changing because scientists make hypotheses based on current knowledge of the time in which they make it. Those are then peer-reviewed, tested, and revised.

Religion, on the other hand, is based on bronze age mythology, illogical threats, and unreasonably unmoral standards for non-testable claims.

  • @bigspliffs If you want a definitive reason why not to believe in a "god", I'll give you a few:

    1. Your religion is based entirely on where you grow up and at what time in history. If you grew up in Denmark during the time of the Vikings, you would believe in Thor. Same goes for ancient Egypt and Amen-Re.

  • @bigspliffs 2. The Bible of Christianity, as well as many other religious texts, is EXTREMELY self-contradictory. The god of the Old Testament is a "misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully", to quote Dawkins.... and I strongly agree.

    3. All scientific evidence points to Evolutionary Theory, the Big Bang Theory, etc.. as being the only logical answers. NO religion has any evidence other ---

  • @bigspliffs --- than holy books that were written at times when people also thought the Earth was flat, blood was bad for you and carried the weaknesses of life, and that the Earth was the center of everything.

See, what you assume again about my age and knowledge only shows your unhesitant, arrogant, conservative mind. My grandparents are the head ministers of a Christian church. I was forced into Bible study since I could read. Only when I started to think freely did I question my blind faith.

  • @brj0207 1).

My religion is based entirely on where i grew up and at what time in history. Wrong, i was raised in a catholic society. Once i started to use my brain, i realised it was wrong. Let me tell you something about Dawkins. He is a scientist, not a philosopher or theologian. He should stick to his field of speciality, if you take his word as 'gospel,' you have become part of a cult.

  • @brj0207 2).

The Bible is not self contradictory, certainly not to the extreme. Yes there are instances, few, but some in the Old Testament that are up for debate as to what the meanings are behind certain actions, or laws of God. But the life of Jesus Christ overwhelms any preconceived negativity towards the acts found in The Old Testament.

  • @bigspliffs Hello.

"The Bible is not self contradictory(.)"

I have a short list of 269 comparisons (there are more) between verses of the bible that Contradict one another. For a total of 538 contradictory verses. These state otherwise.

This is one of my favorites. =)

    I Chronicles 21 1 vs. II Samuel 24 1

  • @L00NGB00W Really, could you give me those contradictions in the original Hebrew. There is no Hebrew word for Satan. That was a word invented in english.

  • @bigspliffs

The original word was 'adversary' - מתנגד ? Implying Satan, devil, fallen angel, or a sinful spirit.

  • @L00NGB00W I see, and the sinful spirit moved David to his actions..under Gods will

  • @bigspliffs

I think you have it. Either God's wrath is in control of this sinful persuasive spirit, or He IS the sinful persuasive spirit. Causing David to sin. (census)

"And there standeth up an adversary against Israel, and persuadeth David to number Israel,"

  • @L00NGB00W Well, they say Satan is the ruler of this world. You may be onto something there. What else have you got?

  • @bigspliffs Well, if you're interested, So be it. =J

    New testament

    Matt 5 22

"[...]and whoever shall say, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.

    english: Hellfire)"

    Matt 23 1 and Matt 23 17

"Then Jesus spake to the multitudes, and to his disciples,[...] You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred?"

  • @L00NGB00W

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:22

Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? Matthew 23:17

Completely different things. Are u suggesting because u use the word fool, u are going to hell?

  • @bigspliffs

Yes, I'm just reading quotations here. Also, This means that Jesus is in danger of Hellfire. That is what Matt 5 22 indicates.

One should not demean another. It is not our place. Even a 'fool' can spot the potential errors of the wise.

  • @brj0207 3).

All scientific evidence does not point to Evolutionary Theory, Prof.Walter J Veith rips it apart. The big bang, well it sounds plausible, but certainly not proven. Nassim Haramein has his own facinating theory. So no, there is never one simple logical answer to everything.

You have a narrow minded understanding of ancient civilisations, if you conclude everyone was a dummy back then....

  • @brj0207 4).

....If they were dummies, then we must also be dummies, for there are many, many things we cannot even begin to explain concerning their history. More illogical reasoning on your part.

  • @brj0207 5).

So you admit, that all your anger is a result of your grandparents forcing you to believe in something you had no say in, in the beginning. So instead of examining just what all the fuss is about, you read Dawkins Book, it made sense to you, and you wholeheartedly agreed. Without applying the science you so worship, to distinguish between fiction and reality, you just accepted. Bravo, you fell right into the trap. Just as Albert Pike concluded.

  • @brj0207 6).

I asked you for one logical reason why i shouldn't believe in God. You gave me no logic at all, never mind a reason.

You are really starting to bore me now, i thought a one point you would bring something new to the table, but your just another broken record.

  • @bigspliffs 6)

Because there's no emperical evidence of any deities?

Is there a logical reason why one should believe in them?

  • @L00NGB00W Just FYI, bigspliffs most likely won't answer you, then make false accusations about you, evolution... anything to divert your attention btw. Just read my conversation so far with him.

You can fix ignorance and arrogance, but stupid is forever. I'm beginning to lose hope of intellect ever actually entering his mind.

  • @brj0207

All the better to help validate my point to those who are able to hear. =)

No one can anger you unless you let them.

  • @L00NGB00W Haha I just love debating people and forcing them to realize "oh shit, you're right"... bigspliffs I'm guessing, as many people like him have previously done to me, he'll just give up because he can't think of a logical refutation of what I've said. Hopefully he'll be adult enough to admit it and ask questions to clarify any doubts.

  • @bigspliffs If I were to disregard the arrogant, inanely idiotic, narcissistic comments in all that... there wouldn't be much left.

The Bible IS very, undeniably contradictory... ESPECIALLY with the moral reality of today's societies worldwide. The point is though, through all this, that the Old Testament is PART of the Bible... you CANNOT pick and choose from the gospel as a whole to "support" what you, as a religious puppet, claim.

YES, ALL supported evidence points to Evolution as the best --

  • @bigspliffs --- and most logical explanation... and as far as Walter, I'm going to watch his seminars and get back to you about him "destroying" evolution, as you might say.

Just because we can't decipher ancient texts, mostly lacking any grammatical sense, or definitions of anything, does not make us "dummies" today. In fact, the knowledge gained by science every 100 or even 50 years is ASTONISHING. The illogical reasoning is on YOUR part.

You have NO idea why I agree with Dawkins apart ---

  • @bigspliffs --- from what I've told you...that being that I questioned my blind faith when I started to think freely (around age 13). I didn't read Dawkins book until I finally got a copy a few months ago. Your assumptions are becoming increasingly immature, inane, arrogant, and poorly thought out.

The logic I presented is COMPLETELY true. Give ONE example how it isn't.

Lastly, for the 3rd time, the burden of proof is on YOU, and actually the reason I started this - to try to find that proof.

  • @bigspliffs You can't seem to support anything you claim, and you YOURSELF even said that you can't offer anything but "the evidence of Jesus Christ". I will agree he existed, but nearly not that that he was his own son, walked on water, converted one molecular compound into a different one with NO technology at all, and became a zombie who damns you to hell if you don't worship him.

Also, srry i took so long, I'm in California and fell asleep at my computer waiting for a reply at like 6 am.

  • @brj0207 "...but not that he was..."

  • @brj0207 1).

No need to apologise. You are accusing me of being, "arrogant, inanely idiotic, narcissistic." Read over the conversation again, who's the once claiming over and over again to be intellectually superior, whos the one acting like a spoilt brat, whos the one that says he's 15, but on his channel its 19??

If you have lied to me on such an immature level, this conversation is over!

  • @brj0207 2).

"Just because we can't decipher ancient texts, mostly lacking any grammatical sense, or definitions of anything, does not make us "dummies" today."

Who said anything about deciphering ancient texts? There is great lack of knowledge on your part for ancient civilisations. For one, they had the use of electricity before Jesus' time. Oh you didn't know!? Looks like you're going to have to re-write your assumptions.

  • @brj0207 3).

The logic you presented is not completely true, if you could drag your head away from your own ass for a few minutes, you might be able to see that.

Jesus Christ is the evidence. If you agree that he existed then by definiton, you agree he was the Son of God. If he existed and didn't perfrom the acts, there would be no global debate about him. Scholars would have debunked it a long time ago.....

  • @brj0207 4).

....The papacy wouldn't have stolen his religion and painted him white. The Muslims wouldn't believe all that christians do, apart from him being Allahs Son. (2 Completey separate accounts of Jesus' divinity.)

King Herod would not have murdered all theose babies. The original Christian religion would not have spread out at an incredible rate, one in which scholars and historians can not account for any other reason but his divinity....

  • @brj0207 5).

The final conclusion to the Bible would not be taking place as we speak, and you people would not be playing your part as the Bible explained.

You see your whole 'logic' was predicted a long time ago.

And again, i state, that Albert Pike called you like the pawns you are. Keep playing your part.

    Just another broken record. :)

  • @bigspliffs WOW that was a very long, ignorant fallacy. Let's talk about a few things.

You had said "then we must also be dummies, for there are many, many things we cannot even begin to explain concerning their history"... i simply responded "Just because we can't decipher ancient texts, mostly lacking any grammatical sense, or definitions of anything, does not make us "dummies" today."

Deciphering ancient texts is another way of saying "learning about their culture and history", i didn't ---
