The benefits of music to harmonize people's mind outweigh the small amount of PVC material needed to make these harps.

When I was little I wanted to play the harp, but my parents couldn't afford one. They got me a second-hand piano instead -- and ever since, I lovingly refer to the piano as "a poor man's harp." :)

you drill into the pipe with an electric drill and one screw on each guitar tuner- feel free to experiment

called an Aeolian harp. amazingly the strings are tuned in unison or any way you like, and it sings. google it or youtube it and you'll see different models. we have a few on the premises and they are remarkable

My boys love it so far. We were blessed that the American Wind Symphony Orchestra's music director R. Boudreau started a Music Program in St James Parish here in Louisiana.

I find this pvc harp such a good idea - if I didn`t already have a bretonic harp (no pedals, didn´t cost 1000 dollars) I would build such an ingenious harp - I will recommend this to anyone, who tells me,he can´t afford a harp. do you ship also to europe?

rather then looking at harps which are very large and very expensive people should maybe look at celtic clarsachs instead. they are a smaller version of a harp (with like 30 and 34 strings) without pedals and i dont think they are half as expensive as proper harps!

the harp is an absolutely wonderful instrument, and rather easy to play. ( the hardest part is honestly tuning, but now electronic tuners are very inexpensive and supe accurate.. thank you

well not really , just like an erector set, you need only a drill to drill a bunch of holes, and a saw to cut the pipe and then you just glue it together-certainly less than 8 hours
