Yeah I do train and my instructor has told me never to adapt bad habits, even when I'm warming up or shadow boxing and the problem here is no matter how good it might be for agility, he's gonna get into the habit of dodging like that and when it comes to sparring or a real fight he's gonna get knocked the fuck out.

Perhaps learn more about boxing before you speak, the purpose of swinging is just for him to get into the habit of ducking while in transition of swinging. The older you get the tougher your trainers will become but at his age all you need to do is perfect the basics, when he is older he can get more technical and perhaps get into MMA instead of just boxing but that's years away.
I just watched a clip of this kid spar. He can hit the pads but he can't hit sombebody trying to hit him back. You can have a superb marksman show off at the range, but in a shoot out is where the true fighters show their true colors.
he's got great footwork and speed. but i did not see any jabs. people can just push him off with a few quick jabs and his speedy hooks would be useless

Apparently this video has frames removed, in order to make the kid and trainer look faster. Did you know that the guy in the back was jumping rope intentionally at an erratic pace so that when they removed the frames, it's appear he was jumping rope smoothly? Thank god his eyes are good enough to see through this rouse when the rest of us could not!

the wrstling u c in MMA is filled with lots of technique. jst cuz it doesnt entertain you doesnt make it stupid. infact its a very intricate style - brazillian jiujitsu. btw Boxing is less safe than MMA why put the kid in a sport where he is likely to get brain damage when he is older. instead put him in something that tests his style and physical limit as well as pays good money if ur champ.

Yeah I do train and my instructor has told me never to adapt bad habits, even when I'm warming up or shadow boxing and the problem here is no matter how good it might be for agility, he's gonna get into the habit of dodging like that and when it comes to sparring or a real fight he's gonna get knocked the fuck out.

Perhaps learn more about boxing before you speak, the purpose of swinging is just for him to get into the habit of ducking while in transition of swinging. The older you get the tougher your trainers will become but at his age all you need to do is perfect the basics, when he is older he can get more technical and perhaps get into MMA instead of just boxing but that's years away.

I just watched a clip of this kid spar. He can hit the pads but he can't hit sombebody trying to hit him back. You can have a superb marksman show off at the range, but in a shoot out is where the true fighters show their true colors.
