  • Well... he just mumbled some worthless stuff and did nothing! just like most of these videos...

  • please people, what he meant to say there is no *easy* way to take the fuel injectors off and clean them, which is true.

  • i put that in my tank. now my car will not run.. what happened?????

  • @drew7473 did you put it in with a full tank of gas? if not then you were supposed to

  • @fromrussiawl1 no half a tank.but i found out the gauge was off.:)

  • BG brand the best. Only $26 a bottle.

  • were does the crude go once its disloged out of them all lucas is the best

  • I can take the injectors off my chevy pickup with the 350 TBI engine. Its easy and only takes an hour to disassemble, clean and reassemble. Also a good idea to replace gaskets and seals if you do it. I would recomend Lucas though. Its very effective and easy.

  • MEN!!!! what a RED NECK!!!!!!!!! I thought they were in extinction. LOL

  • there also is no way to replace a battery. that's why it's recomended to just buy a new car. where do they get these village idiots.

  • you are the first person who i have ever heard say you can take injector off a car

  • injectors can easily be taken off and cleaned at home, I have done it before successfully and I am a female with no mechanical experience and very little tools.

  • what fuel injector school did you go to?

  • @usrock1 Best question ever! LOL

  • this dillutes way to much to work

  • it's more like $180.00 to clean injectors in shop.

  • if this stuff is an oil, would it not gum up your cylinders? And as an oil, how is it possible to burn fully and not leave a gummy residue?

  • @36e28993 it will burn we use a special additive in it to make it cumbust

  • LOL... is it just me or does being certified make you a worse mechanic?

  • How can a master mechanic state there is no way to phisically remove injectors and clean them when there are a hundred vids on here showing how to clean injectors???

  • Please next do the review on Sea Foam vs Lucas Oil

  • Only an idiot would believe there is no way to remove an injector. I think he's just trying to keep the morons who can't figure out which end of a wrench to use from trying to work on their own vehicles. I hate wannabe DIYers that screw up their cars before they bring them to the shop... for the mechanic to fix their screw-up... These are the same people that you have to point out the 710 cap to when they can't find the oil fill...

  • thanks

  • This man is trying to help those who don't have the ability to go farther than the use of these products. It's just preventive 'medicine'. I don't understand why some of you can't recognize this.

  • you got to be kidding me ,,, RITE,,

  • is this guy high or ui?

  • even if the video is good and helpful i always dislike expert village because the ppl arent experts THERE RETARDS

  • I use this product on a regular basis in my 4 cylinder 98 s10. 315,000+ miles and I have never had a fouled fuel injector, or had to replace a defective one. It also acts as an upper cylinder lubricant. It also works very well in diesel engines, its lubricity helps make up for the lack of lubrication provided my low/ultra low sulfur fuel that can cause problems with older diesel injection systems.

  • Show me an average Joe who had the tools and equipment to remove, disassemble a fuel injector, clean it, reassemble it, and reinstall it? Any takers? 99.9% of people don't have the tools and know how to do so. He is providing a good bit of useful information that anyone with or without tools and know how can use to help keep their cars in good running order.

  • This video is for people who don't have access, or tools, to remove the fuel injectors. It's just an alternative and easier way to clean them.

  • Only an idiot would take the injectors out and brush the tips when a regular treatment of good quality fuel cleaner such as Lucus takes care of the spray pattern. Some of the comments I read are childish, this is good advise to prevent problems and I too am a Master Technician. I use a treatment made by Amsoil and it really does a good job of cleaning crud off the valves and reducing emissions as a result of a dirty engine.

  • he shops at autozone and someone told him this?

  • There no way to take out fuel injector but you can go out there and get them clean for you for $ 60 or $70 dollar. You idiot what are you smoking?

  • Ummm this guy is an idiot! Fuel injectors do come out, I mean they had to put them in right? Plus taking them out is the best way to clean them and get ALL of the gunk/carbon out :) I wonder what mechanics school you went to LOL!

  • you must not be a mechanic just want to make your self look stupid

  • dude!!! looks like you need some sleep....

  • you fail just look at other videos on youtube and being a master you should know how to take the injectors off and clean them

  • does this really need to be a how to video? this video sucks !!

  • learn to use a fuel injector cleaning machine

  • yes there is a way to have your fuel injection taken off an cleaned i just did yesterday

get ya facts right its comments llike that expertvillage that wreck peoples cars or machinery get ya facts right ( sorry bout the spelling)

  • now i have a question, how would you know if your fuel injector is dirty? whats the symptoms of a fuel injector being dirty?

  • @MrSubielove You will get rough running, hard starts, poor MPG, but other things can cause those problems as well. The Lucus in the vid is around $4 and it really works well, I run some every 2-3 months of normal driving. Shops will say to do the injector service for $70 but that is how they make their living. If you watch the DIY stuff here you will save a ton of cash on some basic repairs.

  • @dollman0 thank you...

  • yeah lucas is the best i use it in everything cars lawnmowers and anything else with a motor

  • some cars have self cleaning injectors some do not

  • I run a 50 percent blend of Ethanol in my car at all times it seems to keep it running good. i only recommend that in newer cars.

  • There's a way to remove fuel injectors and clean them using standard carburetor cleaner (and wiring the injectors to a battery with a switch). =).

  • Good example of how auto mechanics don't tell you "everything" to keep it simple and do what they tell you. You don't need cleaner unless your rusty gas tank somehow got a rust particle past the filter and is causing the injector a problem, it rarely happens.

  • there is always a way to remove fuel injectors lol thats how you fix them

  • that lucas stuff actually works very well. I have 450cc injectors for a while now and i was having idling issues due to cloggin in such... I used that lucas stuff and after 5 minutes of running problem solved. ands its like 7 bucks

  • try seafoam

  • dont use lucas its crap use STP complete fuel system cleaner at 1/4 of a tank and if you want your car running like new get ZMAX carrol shelby (the owner of shelby car company) sponsers it and its a micro lubricant that really works get fuel and oil and use it at the same time

  • what ever i just put 2 bottles of stp on a tank with may be a alfgallon of fuel drove it let it idel untill it ran out an walla no more plugged injector it is how u use it yeah i f u have a ful tank it won't work or u go and buy a 300 fuel injection and rail cleaner

  • you just doubled it that way i use it at a fourth to try to get a more concentrated cleaning action but thats just me

  • yeah or uy can go buy a 25 dollar can of bg 44k fuel cleaner it is the same stuff they uses in fuel injector/rail cleaner system

  • thanks ill try it out

  • "There is no physical way of taking a fuel injector off a car and cleaning it."

NO TRUE - The BEST way is take them off and send them to Hessian Imports

Write to Hessian Imports at bell south (period) net.

  • were do they find these people?

  • @workensmart the submit what they can do on thier site then the match them up with a video person who submit a app on their website...

  • YES THERE IS! a way to remove and rebuild a fuel injector with an injector rebuild kit. CIAO

  • @thomasawall He did mentioned that if you have the proper tools, you can fix it, but it would be costly and most of us wouldnt want to spend hundred of dollars, so the other method is some fuel injector.

  • @scvietboi the tool that goes on the fuel rail can be had for about $160-$280... if you think about the cost of having them do it at a shop and the time your going to waste taking it into a shop, I think there are a lot of us that would buy one.

I'm looking at buying one right now :-p

  • you can too take a fuel injector off and clean it. That not true.

  • redline fuel cleaner is the best!!!!

  • Lucas doesn't have any detergent to clean injectors. It is just mineral oil. Get something that really works like STP, Gumout, or Valvoline. They actually test their products.

  • I took my fuel injector off and send them to CPR RACING and they clean them for $10 ea and they run better

  • My car gets cold so fast even i drive for an hour when trun off the car it becomes cold with in an hour and then when i re start the engine it starts with ahigh RPM

  • Until a yar ago I USED injector cleaners for 20 yrs.THEY DO NOTHING.

They are the biggest waste of money.

taking the injectors out is easy.

Just get a set of injectors from the junkyard .Have them cleaned&back flushed at a machine shop.Theyll put new seals on them&return them for abt.$16 each.

My car accelerated like new afterwards.

  • Certified Master dishwasher is more like it.

Save your money .How would a chunk of dirt get past a fuel filter???

    MAGIC???

  • Dude, it depends on how you drive your car.. Im a mechanic, and see a lot of cars wich is clocked op BUT, whey only clock op if you drive like a woman (light pedal and early shifts, and over here we know how to use a stick..M/T ftw)

  • "clock up"want language are you using??

  • just direct translation from my language - danish. Don't know how you would say it..

  • RasputinSir : he is clearly using redneck mechanic back woods language.

  • thats so stupid... you CAN take them out.. its actually very easy.. even in a Bosch or Delphi service injectors are taken out so they can be cleaned . The is no solution than can clean your injectors by pouring into your tank..

  • no way to take them out!?!?!? BULLSHIT! HAHAHAH THIS MAKES ME LAUGH

so now fuel injectors are "built into" the engine when it is cast at the factory? HAHAHAHAHAHA i may not be a car mechanic but us aviation and bicycle mechanics are dumb.

  • Me thinks this ad was sponsored by Lucas Oil !!!

  • That kind of products are useless if the problem are in the injector's filter.... You need to TAKE OUT the injector, clean it and change filters n o rings....

  • i clean my injectors like this i take them out put them standing up in my jewelry cleaner mechine denatured alchol about half way full do not submerge injector let it work for 15 minutes brush the spray nozzle soak it 15 more then let it dry in the sun remember to remove rubber seals it is as new

  • "There's no physical way to take a fuel injector off of a car and clean it"

What an idiot. He shouldn't be making 'instructional' videos.

  • actually u can remove fuel injectors stupid expert village douches

  • I'm not paying 60 bucks when it could be done by me. I would like to see a video on how a professional would go about this! Can you make one for me, if not delete this advertisement.

  • see Scotty Kilmers video....It'll still cost $60

  • How a professional would go about it? First of all you need an ultrasonic fuel injector cleaner. Don't worry they only cost about 2-3 grand. better to just take them to a dealer (most small shops wouldn't have this equipment and would only "farm the job" to a dealer anyway). Or take them out yourself, and send them to a professional.

  • A good mechanic will tell you that gasoline is a very powerful solvent, its not exactly safe to use, but it will clean the shit out of metal parts. There's nothing you can run through your injectors that will clean it better than gas. If you have a clogged injector its because of trash or debris, and you just need to replace it, along with your fuel filter.

  • i think he means theres no real way to take them apart and clean them like a carb.

  • You have no clue what your talking a bout. Take the injectors off the rail and send them to be serviced. They have new screens, o rings and are cleaned using ultra sonics and FLOW matched!

  • what do you mean you can't take a fuel injector off a car and clean it? theres lots of off engine fuel injector cleaning machines

  • that first sentence was rough hehe
