This songs brings me back to my marriage (which no longer exists) but anyway , it makes me think of all the good times. There were alot. Love you Chris. Always will.
I saw them as a "band" in Chicago 92 I think. Less than half way through she blew her vocals an it was over. What I saw was Great! This song is special 2 me and I did get 2 see it. Awesome!
@luvinellis I was at that show, I agree,,,,, did you get to catch them the next time through in 93 at Park West??? One of the best concerts of my life!!! Johnette is a force on stage, phenomenal performer
my ex-girlfriend "GYPSY" turned me on to Concrete Blonde great passionate songs with excellent guitar playing ,Johnette's voice really gets your attention ,I must admit I have a thing for girl fronted bands ,this one happens to stand out, lots of memories listening to thi stuff ...........
I love these guys so much and have yet to see them. I have been listening for 15 + yrs. I cant wait for my turn. Johnette's voice in general brings tears to my eyes!!!
you have to see Johnette live if you can...i am lucky i caught CB in their heydey years ago...wowowow..and johnette well she is a pioneer..love her! please com eback to australia again JN!
my favourite song hell i miss this band. johnette inspired me to play bass and there weren't that many females playing bass in sydney back in the 80's..love you woman!
They played hard and so well and a long time. Afterwards the hundreds Bics seemingly burning hopefully but in vain and she came out with her acoustic and played this song solo my wife I loved but I fell in love again in the Wiltern '89. daniel
And every promise we make is as easy to break as the plastic people on a wedding cake!Awesome lyric!

Saw them several times in the late 80s, I think I still have Johnette's set list from a gig at the Central Club in Richmond.
