I watched a few of these vids with the back blade. A few questions to anyone who knows, Does it have a steel cutting edge? If so does it trip if you hit an obstacle? I can see it working well with snow fall less than 6" or so, or if the snow is light and doesn't pack too tight. Any thoughts out there?
These blades work in all types of snow, You would never want to back through a pile of snow. It is just like a front blade and you do not drive through you pile when you are done pushing. You need to leave yourself enough room and the end of your run to raise your blade and turn around.

have you ever plowed a 18 inches of snow?seems like it would be a pain in the ass to back thru a huge pile of snow behind the wheels.

The Gen 3 16' weighs around 900lbs.
We can modify if needed. However, It is usually easier to modify the salter then the plow.

How much does the unit weigh and can you modify it to operate with a spreader?
