  • Composed by Jin Xiang in 1987.

  • Hmm I tried all I can but I can't find the other three parts to takelamagan. Can you please upload or provide URL if you happen to have or know where to find recordings of them? Thank you! :D

  • sorry but i do not have the clips of the other 3 movements...

  • Ooops ! The 2:49 - 4:20 part is just divine... x)

What kind of song is this ? It sounds "modern" sometimes, is it ?

  • It is Xinjiang style music..far in the western china region.

  • @Chlipchlop yep.........it's composed in 1987...and this year belongs to the "Modern" Period ( according to my music knowledge, that is)

  • @Hachoo1 :I'll say it belong to "Post-Modern" period. "Modern" is very old now. "Modern" age started around 17 to 19 century through the Age of Reason and Age of Enlightenment, until the industrial age in late 19 century.

  • These kinds of instruments are called "sheng, 笙" in Chinese.
