A six year string of great Halftime Shows, and then they bring in Black Eyed Peas for 2011, and Madonna for 2012. All in favor of having AC/DC, Van Halen, Metallica, or any band that can actually sing while performing and be entertaining for the Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show, say AYE!!!
No matter who plays the super bowl halftime show, some people are gonna like it and some people are gonna hate it. So it's kind of pointless to argue about it.
These guys were probably in their early to mid sixties at the time of this show. They didnt rely on gimmicks, just good old rock and roll and great talent. Great show.
Why didn't the NFL show any of the Black members of the band? and don't say they didn't show them because they aren't technically part of the Stones even tho they have all been touring with them for such a long time they are practically part of the group but they showed the white keyboard player for pitys sake.
@gdhun19 Yes the Rolling Stones is a British band. But for me it's before all considerations perhaps one of the best rock & roll band ever existed! This year you have Madonna, you think it's better? I'm not sure!
@WarrenZevonAddict2 for all time the largest in the super bowl will be Michael Jackson, he had everything that anyone has teniedo: a whole nation with him, people loved him and still does
@bonola00 Everyone is free to love who he wants. I have the utmost respect for the artist that was Michael Jackson, a musical genius but a little less for the man. I am a huge fan of the Rolling Stones even though their lives are far from blameless! lol
@gdhun19 I suppose youd prefer one of the horse shit performers who are in the mainstream here in the stats today. Well fuck that and fuck you. The Stones and The Who were the 2 best 1/2 time shows ever. Loved both of them.
This is why rock needs to stay with the half time shows. There is no lip syncing here and it's all about the music! There are no crazy costumes or terrible cameos.
@gummibearslayer well it's not just about the singing. The madonna show was entertaining because she wasn't the center. It was like watching a las vegas circus show. It was entertainment. That's what the should be like. Not people on drums and keyboards screaming into the microphone.
@MrDetwaa That was in response to the Black Eyed Peas's performance last year lol. But yes Madonna was entertaining for the most part, when she stopped dancing I could actually hear her sing. I like her music but I don't think it goes great with football.
Seahawks so many bad calls in this game and I'm from Seattle damn stealers

Is the nationality a matter if they can rock off the house this way?

Yeah. A British band that made a HUGE impact mining American Blues.
Go watch Britney, or N'Sync or Black Eyed Peas' performances rather than come to a clip you know you'll hate and posting such retarded shite.
