The Lollipop Generation script is wicked and the opening sequence with that belligerent diatribe every Queer with homophobic parents has heard before word-for-word is especially brilliant. The performance delivered by the voice actor portraying Georgie's father is so chillingly accurate it made me wanna Google my own parents to see if they're dead yet!!! Obviously I totally agree with Chickenfangs comments below: "cutting edge queer history. a rare jewel. best canadian film ever!!!"

just saw this film last night in brooklyn. it's terrific, great, mind-boggling, brilliant, fun and amazing.

A truly fantastic movie, and an amazing achievement. There are scenes that may haunt you which you may never forget. Original and unique. It's almost like an art film, comedy, musical, and 'message film' all rolled into one somehow.
