@e6car I don't know that Ollie was featured in the film. He was no longer with the Temps by the time they did Stay. He was married to Juanita and they did have children together. I saw him in Miami the February before he passed and was shocked to know that he was ill! He brought the house down in Clean Up Woman in February 2010. He died of Leukemia May 30, 2010. His voice will never be replaced.
God Blessed us with this man and his voice. He must have been emotionally strong because I read that even though he had throat cancer three times and leukemia , he never lost his faith in God. Through it all, he could still sing songs like "The Question is" and "I''m not Alone."
@msjayelbee9 Ollie's faith had to be strong...If it were not, he would have never received his healing from throat cancer...Is it amazing how he was sick, and was still working?? I saw him last year in NY in the stage play, the clean up woman...To look at that man, you would have never known he was sick...You are right, his faith had to be very strong to endure all of that he had gone through.....
RIP Your voice will be missed. I look forward to hearing and seeing you again when I get to heaven!
