@CassiusAli3000 umm even if that's true there are many ways to contribute to a team besides just scoring the basketball...if he can defend and grab boards that would be a good enough start for me. His athleticism and length should translate well in the NBA.
@CassiusAli3000 i don't think they'll be "shitty." they'll probably still be a top 5 seed in the west as long as they avoid major injuries to the big 3. say what you want about them, even though they got embarrassed in the first round (where manu played with a fractured arm), they still put up 61 wins in the regular season. im sure they have SOMETHIN left in the tank
The Spurs definately will NOT be shitty because they gave away Hill. I liked Hill, he was my 2nd favorite player under Manu. In honesty though I think the definately got a player who makes up for the loss of Hill in multiple ways. Hill was small and not exactly the best defensive player. Kawhi on the other hand is a lot bigger and a lot more powerful than Hill is, so I definately see Kawhi taking Duncan's position as being what the Spurs are known for after Duncan retires.

@IRVINGTONTS What? James Anderson was really good in the six games he played before breaking his foot. The Spurs are said to really love his game and think he can be the next Paul Pierce.
He's going to get Neals minutes and Neal is going to get Hills minutes.
IDK about Paul Pierce but I think he has the potential to be a very good NBA player sort of like a Joe Johnson type of guy, he's got a VERY good skill set. He can shoot from all over the court, has really good size, he can't really handle the ball that well though and without good handles he can't create his own shot like Joe Johnson, Pierce, all the good NBA SG's can, he's got athleticism, he needs to work on his endurance as well. He'll be a solid player next year though.
The old spurs team would definitely need his help on this shortened season of back to back to back games.
