I have heard that when she heard Kurt playing the early version of the song she wanted it for her album and got upset with Kurt he wouldn't let her have it. Also, a lot of Kurt's anger toward Courtney is evident in the song, and in the video if you watch it.
I'm glad that I finally get to hear this after years of the vocal track's rumored existence. While it doesn't necessarily prove that he wrote the music it does prove that Kurt had more of a hand in Live Through This than Courtney would like us to believe.
