Are you kidding? Google is the leading forerunner in HCI development for computer interaction. Apple does a good job, but does relies on bazaar methods and strives for not just innovation, but OVER-innovation.

Apple prefers to be first at everything rather than being adaptive to other styles that is superior to theirs. Google, on the other hand deters from aesthetics and relies on simplistic usability - which will be timeless. This isn't saying Apple is bad, they are great too.

Google's testing methods are highly dependent on statistical data. GOMS analysis, cognitive walkthroughs, heuristic evaluations, KLM models, user monitoring (keylogging, eyetracking), all methods of prototype testing...

They are the most involved with user experience, but they avoid any aesthetics.

@TheMafiafire Yeah, the same goes for all Linux distros, unfortunately. In my case (Fedora) the issue with Flash manifest after resume from suspension (e.g. troubles with full screen playback etc.). Let's hope that YT expands it's HTML5 capabilities fairly quickly (e.g. quality selection, full screen).
