  • Great band, they do great live performances, they sound good all around. First chick only band i ever listened to more than once.

  • can't find the finnish version...

  • Try the original finnish version with music video "indica - ikuinen virta".

Did you know that readhead singer's father is WHO?

  • As someone who is fluent in both english and finnish i gotta say the english versions are awful compared to the originals. The lyrics don't make any sense (not that the originals were superb) but yeah, i still love the band.

  • Jonsun englanti on aika kehnoa..

    Jonsu's english is bad..

  • @riiq Ääntäminen vähän jyrkkää, muuten mallikasta. Sinä olet kehno.

  • english version not work at all

  • Stop whining about they changing the lyrics, instead of staying the same with just switching languages, they gives new meanings to their new songs.. gotta move instead of staying in the same place..

  • Alright, changing the lyrics is one thing, but why change the music? Almost no guitar... :(

  • in finnish version the lyrics are like poems and I looove them <3 kyllä nää enkunki kieliset menee, mut suomalaiset jyrää<3!

  • These English versions sound so odd since I've been listening to Indica for years in Finnish (my mother tongue).

  • the chorus actually sounds better in english....the verses sound better in finnish...no doubt abt that.

  • In my opinion the song is not mixed well. The vocals should be a bit more in the foreground. I like more the live version /watch?v=pfZUzk339Ng

  • it's normally said 'Rock, Paper, Scissors'

  • The reason why their English songs aren't as good as the Finnish ones is because they're forcing lyrics into music written for Finnish words. Of course it's going to sound contrived and not as good, but hey, it could have been a lot worse. I think the English versions are fine, but they'd be better off just writing in English from the beginning or just sticking to Finnish. Going from Finnish to English, the results aren't the best. Meh, my two cents.

  • @dvinb12345 they also rewrite the entire song when they sing in english, same music in the background, but the words and entire meaning of the song is changed entirely.

  • hm.. i think i even like this version more... its more ... powerfull^^

  • The original song was magic and -although I was sceptic - this version is too. Can't deny it.

  • Karmaisevan huono suomenkieliseen verrattuna! Tää ei edes kuulosta Indicalta..

  • Thank you very much :D

  • i've seen them yeasterday ;)

  • Aaaaaaaaaaaah I can't listen to it!! Never ever!!

This will never be like Ikuinen Virta, never!

  • I really like this song! but I've heard the Finnish version and although I don't understand what they're singing I prefer it to this version

  • I wanna know the finish title :(

  • @LaLeeny1992 finnish version neme is "ikuinen virta" (eternal river

  • finish version is much better even if i don't understand a word

  • I'm going to see them this saturday

  • @1maithe1 : also going to Indica 30/10/2010 Escape Veenendaal

  • @ImtechSpareParts you're dutch then?

  • @1maithe1: If it ain't Dutch, it ain't much (unless it is Finnish, of course).

  • Pretty much a tie between the original and this version for me, overall. I like this one better musically, but I much prefer the original lyrics. I must say Jonsu's pronounciation is really good though. Of course she has an accent, but that's not really a bad thing at all.

  • I'm sorry this song was a flop for me. But i still love Indica and all the songs, just not this in english. But keep going for us fans! <3

  • Sounds terrible...

Kuulostaa karsealle. Älytön idea tuo lontoonkielinen levy.

  • I like the English way better cuz the words are way cooler

  • Hmm.. This (english version) isn't bad, but I still like the finnish version better. Just listen "Ikuinen virta", it's so much better in finnish!

  • I don't understand finnish but keep the music in finnish. It sounds better.

  • And why are people saying she has problems pronouncing? I can understand her just fine.

  • haha im normally i chilled person, listen too slow chilled metal, but i must say this is the only band i WILL get up and dance to. =) god i love this band

  • I love Ikuinen Virta so I was a bit nervous about this version but I like it, is nice.

  • she sing so beautiful, and is hot

  • i don´t like the english version...

    ...

in my opinion is the finnish version so much greater.

  • @FaintCryingOrchidee

absolutely true...the finnish versions have some meaning in their textes...this is...well...the same music but it's loosing much of it's meaning....

  • @FaintCryingOrchidee Sorry but MSpianoduel18 got more thumbs up..=) Just saying.

  • @FaintCryingOrchidee what is the finish versions name

  • @TheRanfall the name is ikuinen virta xD

  • @FaintCryingOrchidee thanks man

  • @FaintCryingOrchidee Whats it called in Finnish?

  • lol i found this band from watching a dimmu bogir video they rock the lead vocalist voice is damn sexy :)

  • @clawz1990 haha nuclear blast rules : D

  • I didn't much care for this band before, but this is a great song!

  • the songtext is so fucking awesome ^^

  • I had (stil have) a crush on their finnish songs but i'm in love with their English versions!!!!

    (now I can sing-along =D)

  • @MSpianoduel18 They are great I love them

  • @SuchaKarolla12 They Really Are ;)

  • They are great I love them

  • I agree with queenoffallenroses - the images are great. I also like the idea of "a lily builds a home - it grows inside my bones... been there since I was born" - the idea must be that we carry the seed of our own destruction with death and rebirth in us already from the time of our beginnings. Very Buddhist and Pagan - I love it!

  • Great!!!!!! This is my favourite one! Rakastan!!!

  • I like how she sings the part "a nest becomes a shrine"...I think both versions are pretty cool

  • I think the way she says 'water' is actually quite cute!

  • The words are very cool and I get everything she says. Yes, I do hear she has an accent but it doesn't bother me personally.

  • I think she would think the same if you try to pronounce finnish as well..! hahaha ;)

  • It's a different song than the one that I fell in love with and that made me interested in Indica, but I gotta say, this is good :)

  • Omg she sucks at pronouncing.

  • @sENzInHO I agree. Please forgive her, she's learning ^^,,

  • I don't like indica's english songs because jonsu can't pronounce english enough, but she learns all the time. And it is nice that girls are doing something new.

  • OMG this is so much better than the Finnish version :D I've preordered this album so if their stuff is this good I have nothing to worry about :D

  • I'm definitely liking the rock edge the english version of this song has, although I'll still always be in love with the original version.

  • Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you so much!!! =) It would be awesome if you could upload some more songs for all us poor non-Finns ;-)

  • Thanks a lot! it sounds awesome! could you upload the others as well, please? =D
